(Scott's P.O.V)

I breathe in, the regular scent of the desert flowing through me. The dust the mountains, everything. It was actually pretty cool today, only 86 degrees. I walk inside, my opa sitting in his chair

"Hey their Scotty" I smile

"Hia Opa" he smiles.

"Hey can you play that piano of yours, haven't heared you in awhile"

I smile, it's true, I haven't played in a while. I set up and play a song for him, he hums along. Before my mother died we would sing and play together. She could always make me smile during the darkest days. She died of an untreated tumor when I was 9.

Later around 5:30 I make dinner for me and Opa, we sit down and chat about various topics and ideas, and then get up. Suddenly I hear a slow mumble and then something blow. Then a voice say something

"Scott stay in here." I watch out the window as he makes his way towards the car. I listen closely

"Who are ya!?"

"Please, out car broke down... And there is no cell service" I see through there is a woman with light brown hair, then a boy who has dark brown hair. He was super cute to be honest. He had a punk rock kinda feel. I see stares then...

"Scott! Get out here!"

(Mitch's P.O.V)

Ah the trip to L.A. was gonna be good.

Until mom told me I'd be stuck in the car for 2 days while we DRIVE there...

Seriously?!?!?

We drive through the desert, I have my headphones in listening to music, I hated the desert. It made my skin breakout and I burn easily, it was sooooo hot out here. No wonder no one lives in these deserts,

So I thought.

I hear rumbling. I take my headphones out and the car blows smoke comes pourimg out from the sides. The engine stopping. My mom clearly upset

"Dammit!" She says. She gets out as do I. The desert heat getting to us. She pops the hood, the engine looking beat up and dead

"Great" I say

"Who are ya?!"

I flip around, an old man stand there with a shot gun, "shit" I think to myself.

"Please, out car broke down... And there is no cell service" My mom says desperately.

I stand there just in shock. The man looks at us with understanding.

"Scott!! Get out here!!" He yells.

A boy comes trotting out, god he was gorgeous. Slim body, blonde roots, and those big blue eyes.

"What's up?"

"These city folk had their car break down. Can ya fix it?" He walks towards the car.

I can't help but look over his body. Slim, muscular. My mother notices and smacks me. He turns around and sees me and smiles. He looks over the car and turns towards us.

"I can fix it but it will take me 4-5 days" the old man nods. At him

"You can stay here while he works" he offers. My mom upset that we will be late to L.A

"Alright." She finally agrees

Scott goes behind and begins to push the car, god he was so strong! He starts tearing out the engine to let it cool for the rest of the day before starting tomorrow, then he comes up to me and my mother.

"I'll show you were you will be sleeping for the time being."

he guides my mother to a separate rooms. I was forced to share a room with him. I walk into his room, Plain, simple. Not extraordinary. By the time we settle in It's already dark. My mom and the old man settle in, I however, cannot sleep, I walk out to the prairie, taking in its beauty of the giant hills and cloudy skies. not seeing anyone, I sit and gaze at the stars. They twinkle in the sky. I sing softly to myself for awhile.

"Nice voice" I shoot up and flip around, the guy, Scott, stands there

"May I?" He motions towards the ground
