"It was a rainy day, or so I've heard. Once again, I didn't even get a glance at the sky. I was kept inside the whole day. How long has it been? I don't even remember. They started keeping me inside at day times now too. I can't do this much longer. I have to go. Whoever is reading these notes, please don't worry. I will most likely die in my attempt to escape but even death is better than this daily torture. I will still try. Tonight."

"That's it? Oh dang it!! Why didn't we find this sooner? It's been days! She's long gone now... And she was our best copy yet."

No.

I wasn't gone. I was still there, watching trough the window. But I'm leaving for good tonight. That's all I needed. Some kind of confirmation. Their reaction. Now I know... A copy. That's all they ever saw in me. Not a person but a copy, an object.

I can't bear it anymore. I need- no. I must get away, far, far away. Somewhere, where they will never, ever find me; where I can forget about all this. My past. Somewhere, where I can start a new life; where nothing is tied to this wretched place. I must get far away.

So I run.
