P r o l o g u e

Kim seokjin .

T H I S story starts on a cold winter night. Somewhere in the wide city of Seoul lives a young and very intelligent boy, Kim seokjin, living his best lazy potato sack life. Today was Saturday, which to seokjin meant cheat day, which also meant food, which means today was full day dedicated to food. And it so happens that food was seokjin's favorite thing next to the color pink, another of his weird obsessions.

"If cucumbers are made up off seventy percent water, then why is considered a solid ??" Questioned the young boy

So there he lies, on his couch, surrounded with a verity of empty containers, bags of chips, and all sorts of different junk food he got his hands on that night. He may or may not be drunk as well but that was for him to know and for you to wonder

When seokjin isn't on his cheat days he's actually quite productive (yes, very surprising) besides Saturdays , on weekdays Seokjin was your typical college boy. he drowned in his studies most of the time instead of being active and social like any normal teenager would do, you know, like the loser that he is. So other than being very unhealthy he was also very smart, studying to be a doctor does have its perks he must say

But attending his studies wasn't why he considers himself productive, oh no. The reason for his label of productivity isn't if his morning life, instead it was for what he does when night fall

Ladies and gentlemen, may I present to you ; agent 04 Kim seokjin

He knows, shocking. No one would have expected the quiet shy little seokjin being a badass agent taking down bad guys .Probably why the agency selected him in the first place, now that he thinks about it.

He likes to call him the Korean male version of sailor moon, but instead of having magical powers he has sick fighting skills and cool guns. Yup, pretty legit

Besides being the youngest to ever join the agency he was also one of the most intelligent. having being able to speak a total of ten different languages; English, Korean, french, Japanese, mandarin, bahasa, Spanish, and loads more his brain couldn't think of at the moment

Now he may be smart in the government's eye, but in all honestly he was a lost kid, having only turned nineteen a few days ago. Heck he even had to call up his hyung to ask what taxes were, he's a lost cause. But after a year being on his own he's proud to say that he's somewhat gotten the hang of this whole adult thing ,,,kinda

"Hyunggie what are taxes? "

"God dammit seokjin "

Which brings us to now, a seemingly passed out and very messy seokjin. Needless to say he was down, he was KO-ed my himself. But just as he was about to turn down for the night he heard the most blood curtailing noise his ears have ever heard, well technically his ears have heard the noise plenty since it was the noise indicating a message from his boss

Seokjin let out a groan. Out of all the things that could have happened on his Saturday night it just had to be a new mission. He stumbled his way towards the ringing object only to be greeted with something much more than a mission from his boss. No he knew his boss well, his voice did not have a dark and low like voice

" agent 04, this is your CEO speaking. It's has brought to our attention of the up coming growth of the mafia group, Bangtan. They are growing at a rapid pace and that is a no go. We are sending you on a year long mission to infiltrate the facility and gain information upon their sudden increase in success" his CEO continued "if you succeed in doing so you shall be awarded handsomely and live a life of comfort if you do so"

"You know Chanyeol hyung, you sound really out of place when you try to speak all formally like that" seokjin chuckled as a response. On the end of the phone line you could hear a exhausted sigh coming from the  elder

"Seokjin come on, I'm trying my best here, so you game or no game?"

"How much did you say the reward was again?"

"Twenty mansions amount of money seokjin. You'll be fucking loaded. You'll be able to afford Netflix !" The elder said teasingly

"Fuck off chanyeol, I'm humble not poor" seokjin snapped which earned a wild laugh from the other. After a few seconds of enjoying each other's company seokjin was the first of the two talk about the elephant in the room

"Hyung, answer me honestly. if I took this job it means I'll be able to retire from agent work. Are you sure you and the others won't miss me?"

Throughout his career as an agent in the company he's never made any close ties other than the members in his team, EXO . At first they were the rejects, the outcast of company. That was until they started working together. And after five long years they became the elites, the best of the best. They shared loss, victories, but most of all they were together through it all. But as time went on they each went their separate ways, some stayed while some seek glory. Some failed and some succeed

For instance his favorite hyung, Byun Baekhyun along side Kim Minseok and Kim Jongdae left the company to fight crime on their own. Soon enough they were known as the nation's heroes CBX . Some even persuade solo careers such as Lu Han and ZiTao. And of course Chanyeol took on the job of CEO. The remainders of EXO stayed back, continuing to teach or do jobs for the company. They continued to risk their lives yet save others

There was a silence on the other line, nothing uttered a noise .it was as if they were both reminiscing in bittersweet memories

"Yoel hyung?" Seokjin said softly almost a whisper

"Seokjin, listen to me this one time. We are family, wether you like it or not. We all are. But sometimes we all have our calling. I want this to be your call, I want this to be your decision. You're young, very . You joined us at only fourteen years old and that's something" Chanyeol said

"your decision doesn't need to be weighed down by us, believe me. You're much to talented to waste having to risk your life ever mission. Heck your 04 , you're the fourth best agent we have here. With this mission you can live your life, be a doctor like you wanted. EXO, your hyungs , me, we want you to be happy" he continued

Again the silence returned, this time it was an emotional one. Seokjin failed to keep in a few tears back as he let out a low whimper. he loved his hyungs, they were his family when he didn't have one

"Y-you know today w-was my cheat day h-hyung. Why d-did you have to make me all e-emotional? " seokjin said jokingly as a few hiccups made it out of his voice

" so you game? " Chanyeol asked one more time with a lump in his throat

"I'm game"

Oh and this isn't technically a chapter since it was basically a backstory to the plot, the real story begins with the appearance of one of the bangtan boys so get ready ٩( ᐛ )و
