---How do you know which was is up when your whole life has been turned upside down---

Hello, I am the author of the very story that you are reading. I would just like to say some things. One, I am British so excuse my spelling of words and lack of knowledge of how things may work in America.                                                                                                                                                                                Two, I am a tremendously terrible writer. Anything I write manages to turn to mush. Meaning it is pure and utter crap.                                                                                                                                                          Three, in my every day life I manage to swear quite frequently, I am trying not to here though because I understand that it upsets a few people.                                                                                                Four, the plot is going to be a bit rubbish, for my imagination skill is terrible.                                          Five, I do not care what you say or think but I bloody love Loki. So the god of Mischief may be involved quite a bit in this. OK.

You were a seemingly ordinary girl, in a seemingly ordinary world. Or that was just the way you liked to appear to everyone...

Y/N Scott, just a normal sixteen-year-old girl or were you? At the age of four you lost your mother when she gave birth to your younger sister, Liv. Later on at age seven you lost your father in a car crash. From then on you were raised by your grand-parents. George and Betty.

Ever since you were a little girl you had an interest in engineering. Not so much engineering -as in fixing cars- but technological advancements. The first thing you had ever made, was a watch. Not just any old watch, but one that spoke to you specifically. He would tell you when to brush your teeth, was your hands, when your dinner had been prepared, when Liv needed something. Okay, it didn't sound too great but come on you were nine.

When you were ten you and your grand-father were in the car together coming back from getting the groceries. You had just turned the corner and you were around ten minutes away from home. When the back of the car bounced up, as it were hit. Actually it was exactly that.

You looked behind you to see a black car tailing you. The driver was not in sight, he was hiding within the shadows of the tinted windows. The driver -as seen by the side window- pulled out a foreign object, which you later found out was a gun, and alerted your grand-father.

Your grand-father evidently already knew, he would've had to have lost all his senses if he didn't know that. All he does is tell you duck, which you do, down under the seat. You still have no idea what he did to the guy tailing you but he was off your tail when your grand-father told it was fine to resurface again.

After that you began to grow weary of your family using a vehicle so, you began working on something new. Shields, invisible to the untrained eye. Nothing could get through them, nothing. You fitted them around your grand-fathers truck and the family car. No-one knew, they couldn't know. They didn't like you doing your 'little experiments' as they called them.

At a later time when you were perhaps twelve nearly thirteen, a similar incident occurred. A guy tailing you. The shields kept him away, didn't allow anything to occur. And no-one saw what was happening. Though, unknown to you, there were trained eyes watching you. Seven to be exact, and the belonged to: Natasha Romanoff, Captain Steve Rogers, Nick Fury and Tony Stark.

Unknown to you this wasn't the first of the last time that these guys had been 'keeping an eye on you' it had been happening ever since your father died and you had become more advance in engineering.

"She's a little Tony," Steve announced.

"We should get her on the team," Natasha added.

"She's seven, Natasha," Tony chimes in.

"So, I was younger when I began," She replies.

"She's not a Russian spy, okay," Tony replies.

"Jealous, are we?" Cap jokingly asks.

"As if," Tony scoffs, though really he was rather proud of you.

.

.

.

"Ah, today is the day," you announce waking up.

Liv jumps out of her bed, " todays is the day, how does it feel to be sixteen?" she asks.

"The same, if i'm honest," you reply. You take a deep breath in, smelling the air, "is that's nan's pancakes I smell?" you ask jumping out of bed all excited. Liv joins you saying nothing.

You walk down to stairs to the kitchen in which both your grand-parents are sitting with a plate full of steaming hot pancakes, coated in Maple syrup.

"Yum," you announce sitting down. For some reason something in your brain is telling you to look to the side so you do. As you look at the corner of the room (by the back door) leaning against the counter is Tony Stark. You make eye contact with him and you both say nothing.

"We need to talk," your nan announces.
