Chapter 2

•Paige's POV•

When we got back downstairs, Melissa was here ready to pick up Maddie. Maddie didn't seem all to pleased to be going home before Chloe. I could tell she was stalling her mom when she said she left her phone upstairs. She didn't bring her phone. I began to feel suspicious.

"Chloe!"

I had totally forgot she was still outside, I ran back to the door and yelled her name. She looked confused when she walked up to me.

"Melissa is here for Maddie."

She looked relieved, and I added.

"Hey do you want to sleepover tonight? It's been too long."

"Maddie too?"

I shook my head, and she smiled wide and nodded, then ran to phone her mom. I walked back to the door.

Melissa was standing there next to Maddie, who looked very grumpy.

"Madison didn't bring her phone."

I could see the annoyance in Melissa's eyes, all of a sudden Chloe walked up.

"Oh hello Chloe! I haven't seen you in ages! Well, anyways, see you girls at dance next week! Bye Kelly!'

"Bye Melissa!"

Mom yelled from the kitchen. Maddie walked literally as slow as she could. Then finally she got in the car and drove home. I glanced at Chloe's relaxed face. Then I ran upstairs.

"Wait up! Paigey!"

She was laughing as we ran into my room, I shut the door so Brooke or Josh wouldn't eavesdrop.

"Soo..?"

She smiled and nodded.

"My mom said yes!"

We squealed and jumped up and down, all of a sudden Brooke poked her head through the door, holding a phone to her shoulder.

"Can you guys shut up? I'm on the phone."

I rolled my eyes and waited until she was gone, before turning to Chloe.

"Okay, spill. What's going on with you and Maddie? I heard her side, but i want to hear yours."

She gasped and asked in a worried voice.

"What did she tell you?"

I shook my head.

"No, first tell me what's going on."

I could see this was hard for her to say, unlike Maddie, who was almost excited to tell me. She took a deep breath, and began.

"Okay, well ever since summer started, she's been sending me these really mean texts, and she told me if I told you, then she would turn you against me. It's gotten really bad. She doesn't want us to be twinnies, she wants you for herself. I can prove it, I wouldn't lie to you Paigey."

The only thing i could think to say was.

"Can I see?"

She nodded and pulled out her phone.

M: ew, your face looked way too fat in that picture you posted.

M: ugly as sh**

M: I know you like josh hyland, sl*t, he will never like you.

M: that yellow top is almost as disgusting as your hair was in that picture.

C: Maddie I thought we were friends why are you doing this to me?

M: you deserve it, and you better not say anything, or it'll come back to haunt you.

M: just watched Dance moms, I beat you! just like I always will, your turns are pathetic and your technique is sloppy, you'll never be as good as me

M: haha that's cute how you pretend your friends with Paige, your only twinnies because you look alike. and not for long. Paige likes me more.

M: If I were you, I wouldn't tell Paigey about this, I WILL turn her against you, if you keep your mouth shut maybe there's a chance you two can be friends, but not twinnies.
