"HAPPY BIRTHDAYYY!!!!" Jasmines mom yells as she jump out of bed.
"Ughhh get outtt!" Jasmine commanded covering her head with the pillow.
"But I haven't sung happy birthday yet" her mom said.
"Sorry mom but I can't be late to school, I'll eat my cake when I come home" she storms out the door as she kisses her mom goodbye "byeeee"
Jasmine walks outside and sees her best friend Layla.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY BITCHHHH" she says while holding a cupcake towards her.
"Thanks Lay" she thanks as she attempts to bite the cupcake. As she leans in for a bite Layla yanks it back and demands "MAKE A WISH FIRST TF?!?!"
"Oh i forgot haha, I wish for a new best friend" Jasmine says as she tries not to laugh.
Layla's face turned from smiling to 😐. "Very funny, cmon the bus is coming"
Jasmine and Layla both got on the bus headed to school. Layla tries to start a conversation with "So what are you doing for your birthday?"
"Idk honestly" jasmine responds.
"How bout you ask out that girl you had googoo eyes for since junior high." She suggested.
"What!?! What're talking about, I'm straight and i have a boyfriend!" Jasmine barked nervously.
"Mhm sure you are. Jazz, im your bestfriend idc if you're gay honestly...but you gotta stop lying to yourself and come out, tell your parents, and ask that girl out. It'll make you feel complete trust me." Layla said.
The bus stopped and they noticed they were at school.
Jasmine bolted off the bus before Layla could utter any other words.
As jasmine was walking to first period her boyfriend Ryan came from behind her and kissed her cheek. "Happy birthday babe" he said.
Jasmine turned around and gave him a big and in the corner of her eyes saw her crush Samantha. This is the girl Layla was talking about on the bus. They locked eyes for 3 seconds but to jazz it felt like 3 years.
Ryan snapping her back into reality by kissing her forehead.
"Oh th-thanks babe" she stuttered and hurried to first hour.
"Uhh...well talk to ya later I guess?" Ryan asked loudly.
Meanwhile lunch comes around....
Samantha always sits at the far left end of the cafeteria as she always does to be away from everyone. Jazz sits by her friends and her older brother Jacob. Jacob knows Jasmine likes Sam already.
As jazz walks over to her friends she hears Samantha calling her. "Hey jazz over here" she requested.
Jasmines heart drops but didnt hesitate as she sped past her brother and in the seat next to samantha.
"H-hey how are you?" Jazz asked nervously.
"Great I heard it was your birthday today!" Sam said.
"Uhh yeah it is...how did you know?" Jazz wondered.
"Your friend Layla is telling the whole school" she says as she giggles. "Anyway i was wondering if you'd like to have a sleepover at my tonight if you don't mind. If you say no i unde-" shes interrupted by jasmine "YESS! I mean yeah sure haha😅what time exactly?" She rambles anxiously.
