Raven's POV
I was assigned to protect Jungkook, like I wasn't going to complain. He's my bias and I would love to protect him, or any of them for that matter. But let me tell you they are... Just... Damn.
My mind traveled to when my mom first went through my phone, that's when she found out that I was addicted to Kpop, how I got addicted is a funny story. I spent the night at an old friends house, we were helping her clean up the kitchen because that was her chore. As we worked she was playing music off the TV, we all were dancing and singing, obviously laughing our asses off. It was either Boy in Luv or Danger. I'm positive Boy in Luv.
I was watching the video, admiring their swift moves. How they connected as they sang in a while they moved in sync. It was memorizing, I wanted to know what ONE of their names were... It was Taehyung... He was my bias at first, then I saw Jungkook. I really didn't think much about him, then I saw him and I were slightly similar.
Then I fell for him, it wasn't my doing... But come one he's so cute! He's a bunny!
"Raven?" a male's voice broke my thought and tried to get my attention, I didn't move my gaze I still stared down at the blank white paper.
"Hm?" I answered as I started to draw connecting two lines together with a small curve. I started to stare at my paper trying to see what my next move would be and what it would make when I was finished.
"How do you know the girls?" he asked, Jungkook sat in my desk chair with a paper that had a small sketch of a... Human...? Maybe. I can't really tell, he was sitting forward with his arms over the sketch he was working on.
"Didn't you hear Ryan?" I chuckled as I looked in his beautiful brown orbs, "I'm his little sister, Raven."
Beast ran right into my room and jumped up on the bed, he sprawled across my bed then was out like a light... Lazy.
"Ah, I'm sorry I wasn't paying much attention." he said while smiling slightly.
"It's fine.," I chuckled, "how long have you known Ryan?"
He looked at me briefly before answering, "there was a threat on me, we couldn't find someone to help us out, then Ryan got into contact with us. Talking about how he knows 4 girls that could help. That's when we met Mercy and well your brother."
I nodded and looked back down at my paper, I began to work then something made me stop. My hand wouldn't move as I stared at the paper. I couldn't help but think of all the drawing competitions we had, my dad would be the judge. Us kids would run around thinking we would be the world's greatest artists, but time was cut short.
I looked up gazing into the mirror that was attached to my dresser, I stared at the girl who stared back. Her red hair up in a messy bun, eyes showed pain that was hidden behind fake emotions. How could that girl possibly be the same again? Her eye brows knitted together as she stared back, she must be seeing the same. In her world her family is still running around and laughing. This world they're gone, and not coming back.
I remembered how I was so small scared of the dark and I would hide behind my dad because I thought Pennywise was in the mirror, that was mounted on Ryan's door. This were the times where we didn't have stress... To be free.
"Is something bothering you?" he asked, I could see the way he stared at me as I looked at myself in the mirror. I couldn't help but nod, making concern wash over his perfect features, "what is it? You can trust me."
"I don't want to be a bother.," I sighed, "I can make it through it in my own."
He wasn't satisfied with my answer, but he didn't want to argue. He most have seen me hiding my pain, so the question was still on the table. Do I really wanna talk about it? He's an idol... He wouldn't wanna hear about it.
~Time Skip~
Training time again... Yay... But I wasn't the only one, but this time Ryan was my teacher as the other girls helped each other out. Today I was fighting with my sais, they fit perfectly in my hands. I could feel the black tape wrapped around the the base of each blade. Which were sharpened enough to where one slash and for opponent would lay on the floor in front of you.
"Now Raven, use you emotions." Ryan said as he held a freshly sharpened Katana up ready for battle. I positioned myself and looked him dead in the eyes, my grip tightening around the sais.
"Tch. Like someone like me would have emotions." I scoffed, he only smirked as he took the first strike. Which almost hit my tattoo, I did my partial back-bend thing as the blade effortlessly swung over me. I flipped backwards, which caught him off guard, kicking his hand hoping the sword would fall. But his grip was tight on the handle.
I growled lowly as I landed in a slight crouched position, my left leg was put backwards to keep my stance balanced and the right leg bent. My eyes narrowed, Ryan smirked. He took a very hard slash down the middle trying to cut me in half it seemed, I put both of the blades in my hands to form and 'X' to stop his attack. I swung my left leg up, wrapping it around his arm and twisting up. I knocked the sword out of his hand and him right ton his ass.
"You've learned a lot in the last week." he smiled, "I'm proud of you."
A small smile of victory played onto my features, that was under my mask. I wiped the beads of sweat that dripped down my face, causing my hair to stick to my neck and face.
"She's definitely a fast learner." Minzy panted as she fought against Bom.
"That's for damn sure." Ryan laughed as he put his arm around my shoulder, I couldn't help but laugh along but become serious right after.
"We should run through it again." I said taking his grip off of me and straightening myself, I looked over my shoulder at him. He frowned.
"Stop over working yourself."
"Why the fuck does it matter if I do?" I growled and turned back to look at him dead in the eyes. He was furious, but he knew deep down I was right.
"Watch it little girl.," he scoffed, "you've learned enough."
I raised a brow and crossed my arms, "you're just scared I'll be better then you."
He scoffed and walked away not wanting to see this turn into a bad argument. I rolled my eyes and pushed open the big black doors, which lead into the long hallway. I walked over to the stairs before calling Beast.
He's gotten bigger and meaner at the people I trained him to be pissed with. His teeth were sharper, his pale blue eyes hard with anger and patience. Beast seems to know things that you wouldn't think he would, he remembers and now is a killer.
We made our way up to my room, we climbed up on my bed and laid there.
"Can you believe he thinks I'm "overworking" myself?" I scoffed, earning a whine from the animal who laid right next to me glaring at the door, "He's... Ugh!"
A deep chuckle came from the door, fucking shit. I uncovered my eyes and sat up looking at the black haired boy.
"Are you talking to yourself or the dog?" he raised a brow, "you know your brother is just looking out for you."
"Yoongi you don't understand do you? There's a reason I'm overworking myself.," I glared, "honestly I'm not even overworking myself, he just doesn't want me to be better at it."
He laughed at me before taking the towel in his hand, and willing his forehead. The sweat beads on his head now disappeared onto the white towel.
"I understand more then you think.," he sighed and walked to the corner of my bed, then sat down, "he's doing this to protect you."
I sighed knowing he was right, but still what's the point? It just pisses me off knowing I can't get better if he won't let me.
"Wait... Why are you all sweaty? I didn't see you in the training room." I looked at him and raised a brow.
"They have a gym dork."
Ohhhhhhhh....
