Had he drunk something last night? Oh god please don't say he had a one night stand! He did didn't he? Turn and face the music. Come on, get it over with. Something wet touched his fingers when he reached for the pillow to turn himself. Oh that's disgusting.... Oh god. It wasn't what he thought it was. It was red and running down his wrist. He didn't even think before he screamed.
The scream cut his ears when he went towards it. When he got there another man was climbing frantically out of the bed where the corpse lay. He'd suspected this but it didn't make it less disturbing.
"Hey, hey look at me, breathe. Deep breaths, just take deep breaths" He looked into the chocolate eyes opposite him as they closed and blinked open again. Since there wasn't anything else he could do he introduced himself. "I'm Greg" He watched him recognise his name.
"I - I'm Mitch I think you work in the same lab as me. D'you have any idea what's happening here?" Mitch seemed to expect the negative answer. Then two successive voices told them they weren't alone.
"Baby?!"
"Dion!" After an unspoken agreement they headed towards the nearest voice. "Dion this isn't funny anymore! Dion!" The raven haired boy was slowly edging out of a room near the one Mitch had been in. Heading towards him they noticed the promise ring on his finger. That solved who Dion was. "Dion you're so dead if you don't answer me!" The joke sounded scared and wrong as if he doubted it was one.
"Hi" Mitch walked forward gently as if the boy was a scared animal. "I'm Mitch and this is Greg. D'you possibly have any idea what's going on?" The answer was what they expected but still caused a sinking feeling in both of them.
"Have you seen my boyfriend? He likes pranking me but I don't think he'd go this far" He added quickly "I'm Seb"
"Baby?!"
"Dion!" Then he tore towards the voice before they could stop him.
"Seb wait!" Mitch pulled him back to point it out. It was cruel. Unbelievably cruel.
"Baby?!" There were speakers playing Dion's voice. Greg spoke over it while looking around
"What the hell could be the point of this?!"
"I..." Don't know. Or don't want to?
