" YOU girl ! Wake up and stop being so lazy. You have to buy some things from the market and it's 10 am already".
My grandmother says that, like, everyday and I mean every single day. I opened my eyes and looked at my small window. I saw the sun and felt the fresh air coming though.
I looked into my mirror then to the clock. It was 7 am.
"Grandmaaaaaaa, why the hell did you wake me up?! You said it was 10! Ughh I hate that" I said.
Actually, it was okay, she always does the same!
I went downstairs to talk to her. “Pretty girls wake up early; I used to wake your mother up at seven.
Do you still remember her?” she asked,
“No I don’t,” I replied. “I can't even remember her face.”
“I know you were young when you lost her but it's your destiny, darling, to face the world alone" she replied. I looked into her eyes and I was about to cry but I didn't. I don't like to show people how I feel, even my grandmother.
Grandmother’s P.O.V
Aw, Sara is growing up so fast!
I can see my daughter in her with that curly, blonde hair, white skin and bright, shining blue eyes.
She had such amazing hopes in life, being who she was, but she’s dead now.
It’s killing me that I will die after a few years and she will have to face the dangerous world alone.
Sara’s P.O.V
I got dressed to go to the market with Grandma but I noticed she was crying.
“What’s wrong Grandma,” I asked “Why are you crying?”
"Nothing, Honey, you just remind me of your mum. You look just like her and she died so young and you didn't get the chance to know her and I’m afraid that I will die soon and leave you alone in the world”
"Aw, Grandma don't say stuff like that, you've always said to me that it doesn't matter how much you live, it's about living your day and being happy with everything in your life. So let's go to the market and start our new day” I said kissing Grandma her cheek.
