tapping out of the friendology app on her phone, yuyuan flops down on her couch like those dead fish that are sold in fish markets. her eyes lifelessly stare at the plain, boring ceiling of her living room as she contemplates what she should do next.
YUYUAN'S MOTHER "chUN YUYUAN GET YOUR ASS OFF THE COUCH AND GO OUT AND BREATHE AIR."
CHUN YUYUAN "alright mom."
( yuyuan climbs up from the soft couch. )
YUYUAN'S MOTHER "don't just stay at home all day doing nothing! do something productive like excercising!"
CHUN YUYUAN "yes, mom."
(yuyuan says, exasperated.)
YUYUAN'S MOTHER "good, now go out and meet some new people, daughter."
CHUN YUYUAN "yes mom ..."
(yuyuan gathers her things and exits the house whilst her mother yells:)
YUYUAN'S MOTHER "aLSO DON'T ACCEPT ANY CANDY FROM STRANGERS, YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENED THE LAST TIME YOU DID!"
CHUN YUYUAN "mOM YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO REMIND ME OF THAT TIME."
CHUN YUYUAN "ANYWAYS BYE."
(the door slams shut as the girl exits the house.)
and off our protagonist goes on her very own adventure in the area. the first place yuyuan ends up browsing through is of course, her local seven eleven store.
upon entering the familiar shop, she notices a semi-large poster stuck up on the glass wall.
CHUN YUYUAN "uh, looking for cash registers and pay stubs."
(yuyuan reads out as she narrows her eyes to get a better look at the text. )
