1. A=1/2 bh
A=1/2(12)(4)
A=24

Note: dapat nasa same unit sila kaya kung cm yun isa dapat palitan niyo ng cm yung 40mm so para maconvert niyo ang mm to cm move the decimal point one place to the left kaya magiging 4.0 o 4

2. A=lw
    A=(7)(4)
   A=28

3. 3 - {7-[8+(6-3)}
    3 - {7-[8+3]}
    3 - {7-11}
    3+4
   = 7

4.  10 - {11-[15-(3-7+8)]-12}
      10-{11-[15-4]-12}
      10-{11-11-12}
      10+12
     =22

5. (5x+4y-7z)+(12x-2y+5z)+(2x+5y+4z)

Solution 1:
   (5x+4y-7z)+(12x-2y+5z)+(2x+5y+4z)
   (5+12+2)x+(4-2+5)y+(-7+5+4)z
   =19x+7y+2z

Solution 2:
 (5x+4y-7z)
 (12x-2y+5z)
 (2x+5y+4z)

  19x+7y+2z

Note: Kayo ang bahala kung saan kayo mas mapapadali masolve yung number 5. Aja!

6.  (10a+12b-3c) + (7a+6c-9d)
Solution 1:
(10a+7a)+(12b)+(3c+6c)+(-9d)
(10+7)a+12b+(-3+6)c-9d
=17a+12b+3c-9d

Solution 2:
 10a+12b-3c
   7a         +6c-9d
--------------------------
17a+12b+3c-9d

7. One angle of a triangle is twice as large as another. The measure of the third angle is 30 degrees greater than that of the second angle. Find the measure of each angle

Solution:
Let x=measure of the smallest angle
2x=measure of the second angle
2x+30=measure of the 3rd angle

x+2x+ 2x+30=180
            5x+30=180
                   5x=150
                     x=30

Note: kailangan niyo lang mag analyze. Kung bakit 180? Kasi yun ang total😁 kung bakit 150 siya pinagminus ko 180-30=150 tapos divide by 5 both side kaya naging 30 siya

8. -31=2(x+3)-5(x-1)
Solution:   
       -31=2(x+3)-5(x-1)
       -31=2x+6-5x+5
       -31=-3x+11
       -42=-3x
        14=x

9. 7(x-2)+13=3(x+5)
Solution:
7(x-2)+13=3(x+5)
7x-14+13=3x+15
         7x-1=3x+15
       7x-3x=15+1
            4x=16
              x=4

10. 5x+3(x+4)=36
Solution:
 5x+3(x+4)=36
 5x+3x+12=36
       8x+12=36
              8x=24
                x=3
