Happy Birthday to the Liar

Five days had passed since the group initially swapped bodies.

Eri woke up, "Urrrrrrgh. Mornings." She looked down at herself, "Well, that's a body. Wait..."

"THIS IS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!" Ocotillo screamed in the other room when she saw that she was back in her own body.

"YES!" Eri said, happy to be in her own body again.

Due to the messed up sleeping arrangements, Riley was in the same room as Eri and was rejoicing the fact that she had her own body again.

Lina and Smoke-Storm were in the same room as Eri as well. Lina was murmuring, "Moussssse." Then she realized she wasn't meowing it.

"YES! I CAN MAKE HUMAN WORDS AGAIN!" Lina said. "I still crave mouse though... dang it!"

Soon, everyone was awake and overjoyed at the fact that they were back in their own bodies. As many of this series' chapters start, the group had breakfast.

Smoke-Storm meowed for food, and Lina was slightly shook as she realized she roughly understood what he was saying.

"Cheshire...? I still understand cat, somewhat..." Lina said.

"Hm, I guess that's because you were a cat. After all, despite being in a non-English speaking body as a kitten, you were still able to understand English. I also heard that Moon was and is still able to somewhat understand Greek since she was in Annabeth's body," Cheshire said.

"Wait, does that mean Riley could understand me when she was in your body?" Lina wondered and turned to Riley.

Riley shifted uncomfortably, "Yeah, but I was never really a huge language learner, so when I heard you, it was off from what Cheshire said."

Lina said, "Oh, I see."

Riley went over to Snow who was happy to be tall again.

"Yo," Riley said.

"Yo," Snow finger gunned at Riley.

"So... being a dude. Weird, am I right?" Riley attempted to make conversation.

"Um... well, I've always been a dude, so not really. I could say the same about being a female, but then you'd say what I said," Snow said.

"No, not really. Being a girl is weird. Even for girls, and I am one," Riley said.

"Is nineteen years old really still considered a girl?" Snow wondered.

"Uh, I don't know... would I be considered a woman yet?" Riley asked.

"Well, you are an adult since you're over eighteen," Snow said.

"Yeah, but nineteen year old woman just sounds weird... maybe I'll just wait until I'm twenty to call myself a woman," Riley said.

"When are you going to turn twenty?" Snow asked.

"August 27th," Riley answered, "When's your birthday?"

"January 8th," Snow said.

"It's January 9th, so happy belated birthday Snow," Riley said.

"Wait, really? Holy frick! I'm finally twenty!" Snow exclaimed.

"What? I thought you were already twenty," Riley said.

"Nope! I was lying to make myself seem more mature," Snow proudly admitted.

Riley just stared at him and sighed, "Just when my image of you was starting to get better..."

"Hey now, that's not very nice," Snow said.
