2020 AD- World war III breaks out, initiated by a Russian submarine invasion into U.S. territory. Lines are drawn, sides are chosen. The whole world is caught up in the middle of nuclear warfare.

2027 AD- Half of Earth's human population is razed in light of the nuclear war. Global economy is destabilized. Society is bordering on anarchy.

2031 AD- Governmental systems are disintegrated after a nuclear misfire into the amazon forest. Earth's ecosystem is in fast decline. Polar ice caps start melting. Bees go extinct.

2069 AD- Worldwide famine. Mass deforestations. Recurring tsunamis and hurricanes. Heat Strokes. Several pandemic outbreaks. The human population is dwindling in a few millions. 81% of flora and fauna are already extinct.

2084 AD- The rise of Lycan Corporation—formerly a doomsday company. Providing the important and wealthy of the human population with airmasks,

and habitable sanctuaries, pending the solution to the ecosystem.

3002 AD- Ronke Okri, under Lycan Corporation's commission, discovers the ecoweb, a hive of tube-like machines that hover over cities, regulating the environment in a contained, terrenial field.

3009 AD- Lycan Corporation uses the ecoweb to structure a new society under their fascist governance. Forty cities in Africa—the lone surviving continent—are rejuvenated. Factories are built around the edges of the cities where the impoverished and diseased, called Fringers, live. These will later come to be known as Fringe Towns.

3016 AD- Fringe Uprising against Lycan Corp. cities. Ronke Okri dies in a suicide bombing orchestrated by the Fringe Rebel Association. Just as human population takes a rise for the first time in conceivable history.

3030 AD- Lemi Okri, Ronke Okri's son, utilises one of his Mother's abandoned projects to create the Obscura Program to eradicate the Fringe Rebels once and for all.

3031 to 3033 - Fringe Wars: a bloody series of battles fought by Lycan Militia with the support of Obscura Operatives against the Fringe Rebels.

3034 - The Rebels are defeated. Reckoning Day starts: once a year Lycan Militia randomly chooses eight Fringeborn to duel against each other in a deadly, three-day gaming event. The Reckoning Day is observed to celebrate Lycan Federation's might and keep the Fringers in check.

Lemi Okri vanishes after being listed #1 Most Wanted by Lycan Corp.
