Surprises and moods

"Okay. Your details say, you attend Yale and that is one of the best colleges in the states.  What grades did you use to acquire or gain admission. Or you were pardoned?"

"No, miss. I had straight A's in my final exams in high school and a high score in my SATs and also in the admission exams. "

"Your talent? "

"Writing."

"Can you give a poem offhead."

"Reason in itself confounded
  Saw division grow together
  To themselves yet either neither
   Simple were so well compounded "

"You may leave "

I walked out feeling a little better but why was she so firm. I think I understand why she was given the role of maleficent.

All the others came back and we were driven to a 5-star Italian restaurant to have lunch and that was where the results came out.

"Good morning, sorry, afternoon "

"Good afternoon."

"The results are out. I will only mention the winner and he or she gets to spend 24hours in Hollywood studios."

That sounded like a good deal. Many were smiling.

"The winner is Sue Holmes "

"I knew it! Thanks Angelina. "

(Sophie) : What the? She goes like I knew it! Thanks Angelina. Annoying piece of crap. She is trying to set the standard. She will have to face me.

(Jack): She was one of the few that came out smiling. I actually nailed it but anyway. .....

She run up to hug her. All the same, I did well. The rest of us were driven back to the mansion. Sue got to spend a whole day with Angelina and other people at Hollywood.

A day later........

She arrived looking all smiley. It was evident she had the best day of her life. "Guys, I have bad news."

"What news, Sue? "

"Eviction is next week instead of next two weeks"

Fear gripped me. I wasn't prepared for this. Next week. It seems I was the weakest here and if I don't try harder, I will have to kiss this competition goodbye.

I walked quietly to my room to prevent people from noticing my fear. I could hear them talk and discuss things downstairs but I wasn't interested. I was too  worried to get entangled in a conversation.

I heard a knock on my door.

"Who's there?" I asked.

I didn't want any visitors around. I needed my lone time to think through things. I know I was pardoned but I Can win this to surprise the world.

"Blair, can I come in? "

"Sure, the door is not locked "

She walked into the room slowly.

"Whats wrong Anthonio?"

"Nothing! Why ask?"

"I noticed your mood change when Sue  broke the news."

"Which mood change?"

"Stop pretending. You left us immediately she said it."

"I just needed to be alone. "

"And you think I will believe that?"

"Yes because that's the truth."

"Anyway, I'm Blair. My room is next to yours. Feel free to come around if you want to talk."

She walked out a little disappointed. I think she came out to find out why I left them. A vital Iinformation.

Sunday. .......6pm......Hollywood

"Good evening ladies and gentlemen."

"Good evening"

"I guess this is your first time seeing me."

"Yes!"

"I am Flynn Ryder. Your producer and I'm here to tell you what you'll be doing on Friday. That is our first eviction "

There was murmuring in the room.

"Anthonio, are you scared?"

"No Blair,  I'm just fine. What about you? "

"A little.  I'm afraid I might leave. "

She was being honest but I was not. I was scared to death what the first task will be.

"Your first competition is going to be a play by our patron and role model, William Shakespeare. "

Others were laughing because they might have probably specializes and perfected everything about Shakespeare where as I only have knowledge of what was being taught in school.

"The Winters tale. These are going to be your roles"

Sue got a lead role? That girl is really made of something.  A whole lot of things I can't imagine. Jack and Cristen were also lucky. They got lead roles. Cleomenes was really a good role though.

"You have until Friday to get ready."
