8 weeks later.. {Annie's POV}
It has been 8 weeks since I was in the hospital, and 5 weeks since me and Hayden announced we were in a courtship.
I woke up and did my normal morning routine. After my shower, I put on my black lace bra and thong, then my silk lavender robe over. Sarah and Kylie did their usual, and left the room leaving my pressed ivory dress. The dress ended at my knees, had 3/4 sleeves, and the sleeves were the same color lace. The end of the dress had lace, and the top hugged my figure at the top.
"Your highness, your mother said for you to change into this. After all, its the day." Sarah said, and I remembered. Its October 1st.
"Um, ok." I said, and changed into my dress. It was a long black dress with long black sleeves. I put on my black hat with lace covering part of my face. I changed my lipstick from a nude, to a dark red. I put on my black heels, and my black dangling earrings. My hair was in a bun, and I put on black silk elbow high gloves.
"Your majesty. Your mother and your sister are waiting. I've informed your ladies you'll be out today and Prince Hayden as well." I nodded, then grabbed my black clutched, and held my head low as I walked through the court.
I walked inside the old fashion black carriage where Hayley and my mother were all dressed in black waiting. I sat next to Hayley as we held hands. If you're wondering, today was the day everyone forgot about. I wasn't supposed to be the first in line for the throne. My brother, Caleb was. He was 13 when he died, and my mother hid her children from spot light. So really nobody knew he ever existed besides my family. Everyday on October 1st, everyone at court should know not to disturb us.
After a 30 minutes, we arrived at the church where Caleb was buried inside. My sister, my mother, and I all cried and said our prayers. We were there for hours, and lost track of time.
"Your majesties. Its time to go." Jerry said, and we all left, but before we kissed Caleb's burial, then went back into the carriage.
We headed back to the castle, but made sure to fix ourselves up. We arrived back, and went to our rooms separately. Me and Caleb were very close growing up.
Flashback!
"Caleb wait up!" a 5 year old Annie yelled as she chased her older brother around their playroom.
"Never! One day I know you'll beat me!" a young Caleb yelled as he ran around the playroom, making sure Annie cant catch up.
5 years later...
"No! Caleb! Don't leave me!" A 10 year old Annie yelled as she saw her 13 year ld brother on his hospital chair.
"Annie, I have to go." he whispered and took his last breath.
"No! No! I haven't caught up to you yet! You promised you'll let me catch up to you!" 10 year old Annie yelled/cried as she saw her brother, lifeless on the bed.
End of flashback
I cried just remembering the memories. I looked at my nightstand, and took out my pic of Caleb. "You promised you'll help me." I whispered, then a voice made me look up. Mom.
"He's looking over you." she whispered, and I cried into her arms. she held me and I cried.
