"Wakey, wakey, eggs and bakey!" I hear a voice sing. My head was killing me. I opened my eyes slightly to see a dark room, lit weakly by a dim light in the corner. I squeezed my eyes shut, trying to stop the pain of my pounding head and to figure out where I was. The last thing I remember was Jayson carrying me to bed. We just had game and movie night and I was half awake.

"Oh, does baby have a booboo?" The voice asked. I tried to move but I'm tied down. This is fun.

"Where am I?" I asked.

"Well your not in Kansas anymore Dorthy." The voice laughed. I looked around but I couldn't find the owner of the voice.

"No shit Sherlock!" I growl. This dude. Deep breath. I need to calm down. Bruce will find you. That or one of the superheroes will. There are loads of those guys, ones bound to save me.

"Well that wasn't very nice. Let's fix that!" A small shock jolted through my body. I let out a gasp and as soon as it started it stopped. The hell! "I'll come back as soon as you decide to play a little nicer." The voice laughed. You're gonna die here, cold and all alone. Not helpful. I glared around the room. I feel around where I can with my limited reach. Wait am I sitting on a-

"Paperclip?" I ask aloud feeling the cold, small, metal object in my hand. I work at it, bending and reshaping it. Once I get it in the shape I need I find the lock hole on the handcuffs and get to work. It takes a few minutes but soon I'm freed from the cuffs. I stand up, rubbing my red wrists and walk around the room.

"Oh goody, you salved the first task! Next, let's test your wit! Answer the riddle on the table and progress fail and it with be your death."

"Wow, poet huh? Who would have thought?" I grumble walking to the table.  There, on a piece of paper written in green ink, "if I hold a bee in my hand what do I have in my eye?"

"I hold a bee... I'm holding a bee... bee holding... bee holder... beholder? Beholder! Beauty in the eye of the beholder! The answer is Beauty!" I yell excitedly.

"You more clever than I gave you credit for." The voice echoed. Suddenly the light flashed on and there at the end of a long hall was Bruce and the boys all tied up.

"Pax!" Bruce yelled.

"Bruce!" I started running towards them when out of nowhere this large robot punched me in the gut. I tumbled to the floor, holding my stomach in pain.

"You think you will get away that easily? Good luck getting your family away from that bomb. You have thirty minutes." My eyes widened in fear. Bomb? Suddenly I was lifted up and punched across the room. My body slammed against the wall and slid down. My headache was now the least of my worries.

"Stand up and fight! Or watch as your family parishes!" The voice demanded. This is your fault. Everyone you love is going to die because of you. You will be all alone again. Say goodbye to Danny and Elle. Once your back in the system you'll never see them again. That is if you survive this. What would master lee think if he saw you give up? He must be so disappointed in you. No. That's not true. Master Lee says he will always be proud of me. My face hardens as I force myself up.

"I'm not about to lose the first family to actually want me." I glare. I run at the robot and jump kick it, throwing it across the room. I sprinted forward and using the front flips Dick taught me to land hard on its head, crushing it. I made my way over to my brothers and father and looked at the countdown. 5 minutes left.

"I don't know how to disarm bombs," I say, tears filling my eye, and my stomach with dread.

"Calm down. Remember what I taught you." Bruce's voice was steady and clear. I nodded and looked around. As soon as I saw it I nearly burst out laughing. I walked over to an outlet and unplugged the bomb. Doing This also released the males.

"You did it!" Dick cheered. "Way to go carrot!" Jason came over and lifted me up in his arms.

"Way to go kid!"

"It was alright I guess. I was faster." Damien crossed his arms.

"Aw come on, at least she saved all of us, you only tried to save Bruce." Tim nudged him and the youngest boy glared daggers at Tim. I looked at them confused.

"You know where we are?" I asked.

"Of course we do, you don't think we would allow ourselves to be captured for real do you?" Damien asked like it was the most obvious thing. My smile fell and I pushed my way out of Jayson's arms.

"None of this was real?" I asked.

"No, it's a simulation. Right now we are under Wayne Manor." Bruce said on one knee. He placed a hand on my shoulder but I just backed away out of reach.

"You weren't in danger..." I ponder.

"No, we promise none of it was real," Tim said. I shook my head.

"It was real. My pain, fear, my worry! That was all real!" I yell glaring at them.

"Pax, it was a test and you passed." Bruce tried to explain but I shook my head.

"That doesn't make it ok! Here I was thinking I finally found a normal home, but no! Just more crazy's!"

"What are you saying?" Dick asked, a look of worry and hurt on his face. I turned away from him.

"I don't know. I want to go to bed. I'm tired." I cross my arms.

"Alfred open the door," Bruce called and two big doors open. We walked out and what I saw made my mouth drop.
