The howling wind and the waves were the only sound we heard for a moment. I felt strange... But I liked how it all felt. My heart was beating so loud.
"Honestly, I don't know how I feel," I said slowly.
Your expression clearly changed. Your shoulders shrugged, and the light in your eyes dimmed. But you didn't let go.
"I've never dated a poet," I continued. "I have never been made into a poem before."
"A lot, actually," you said, let out a brief smile. "I can make a lot of poems for you, as much as the stars above."
I believed I blushed, and you let out a thin smile.
"I've never been loved by a poet and I've never loved a poet before."
I locked my eyes on yours. Your eyes lightened.
"Are you afraid?" you whispered.
"No," I shook my head. "I just... You love me the way I've never been loved before. You love me so beautifully, I don't even know such thing exists. It felt strange, but yet... it was strangely wonderful. That's why I'm confused. I've never felt like this before."
You leaned closer. At first we hesitated, but it felt right. The stars witnessed our first kiss. This strange feeling was so beautiful my heart felt like it was going to explode.
Your lips tasted sweet, but your smile looked sweeter.
"I will always be there for you to reach," I whispered, before you stole another kiss.
"I will always love you beautifully," you promised, before I leaned to rest on your shoulder.
That night was beautiful, but you made it unforgettable.
