"Hey"

This was the txt I got one morning on my Instagram. It took me a minute but I remembered him.

Dalton.

We went to school together but I moved my freshman year of High School and not surprisingly I forgot about him.

We both when to different school but this time it was different and totally fit the cliche.

We went to rival schools. I went to Clinton High School and he went to Anderson County High School. Great right? No

"Hey. What's up, man?" I replied.

"Nothing much. Working."

"Cool. I'm just chilling."

I still wasn't sure how to handle the situation. I was nervous. I didn't know him now. It's been a minute since I've seen him.

"You got Snapchat?" He asked.

"Yes" I gave him my username. Since then we've been talking.

Sometimes it's awkward because he's busy or we just have nothing to talk about, but one day I got the courage to ask him a question.

"Wanna go for coffee sometime?" Good thing he couldn't see because I was red as hell and a complete giggle box.

"I'll have to see. Kinda busy at the moment"

"I did say sometime. I didn't say today" Of course my tone was sarcastic bit I don't know if he knew that. (Lol)

We literally talk everyday and I look forward to it. He makes me smile a lot. He's a great friend, athletic, has a wonderful work ethic, very respectful, understanding, and charismatic.

No one had anything bad to say about him. Unlike me. I piss people of because it's fun (and easier than pleasing everyone).

I swear his features are perfect too. His smile is white, he has a beard growing but keeps it neat and crisp, a strong jaw, and a built body.

I guess we are a little more different than I first thought.

Let us see how this goes. ☺ I'm still waiting on that coffee date though. Lol
