Chapter Two: Preparation

We spent that night planning out our summer plans at Kaden's Beach house. At this point we just needed some cash, a car, and permission. Kaden and I had already asked our parents since our parents were having a private meeting in the family office room about the realtor business they co-own together. His parents would loan us their G-wagon and my parents would provide money. Alec was positive that his grandma would agree and Julia said her parents would think about it. 

 Alec and Julia left to start packing and Kaden was waiting for his parents. I scurried up the stairs and grabbed a suitcase from the closet. I quickly changed into comfy clothes and then I started grabbing different types of clothes to pack. You never really know what the weather will be like. Suddenly, I heard someone barge in. 

 "Don't you know you're supposed to knock before entering a room?" I exclaimed at Kaden who walked straight in and sat right next to my suitcase. 

"Yeah, I know. Just don't care" he winked. 

 "So what's up?" I asked while turning around to grab more clothes"Well first off, what are these?" he snickered holding up my VS Pink watermelon panties.

  My face flushed red as I rushed over to snatch them."You know what they are!" I said with embarrassment. 

 " I know what they are but I didn't see YOU as the type to wear them. They're rather childish," he smirked. 

 "Okay well you thought wrong and I'll have you know they're actually really comfortable. Now did you come in here to bother me or was there a reason?" I asked in a rather annoyed tone.

 "Dang girl, chill out. I didn't say nothing about them being ugly did I? Anyways your parents need you," he smiled, laying on down on my bed.

 "Alright well, c'mon. I don't snoop through my stuff while I'm gone." I replied while opening the door for him.

 "I don't care about your stuff. This bed, on the other hand, I'm staying here till we leave" he responded turning himself away from me.

 Rolling my eyes, I went downstairs and into the office.

 "Hello, Mr & Mrs. Woods. Pardon me but Kaden said my parents called me?" I asked formally.

 " Yes honey, so Mr. & Mrs. Woods are going to be lending you the G-wagon, so I respect all four of you to take proper care of it. Now, I'm going to be giving you our Black Card. Spend it how you guys would like, I want you four to enjoy yourselves this last summer of yours. Julia's parents called and they have decided to let her accompany you guys as well as Alec's grandmother. The car will be brought by the Wood's driver early in the morning. Kaden's bag will be brought as well since it's pretty simple to pack for him. Do you understand, sweetheart? My mother asked while handing me the card.

 I nodded excitedly giving everyone a hug."Thank you so much!! I love you!" I grinned as I walked out and ran up to my room.

 I looked at my bed and saw Kaden fast asleep. Sighing, I walked over to him, trying to shake him awake. He groaned and I sat at the end of the bed in defeat. I never realized how weak I was till now. I grabbed a spare comforter from my closet and covered him in it. He can be annoying most of the time, but tonight he looks so calm and peaceful. I smiled to myself as I zipped closed my suitcase and placed it on the floor. I then headed to the guest bedroom and drifted off to sleep.
