Rosie's POV

I kept on following him, he was now walking at a faster pace and I noticed I had come quite near to him. I needed to keep my distance. I started to walk slower and watched him turn a corner, I followed. I know I might be stupid to do this, but I really need to know what he wants and why he keeps following me.

I kept my footsteps quiet so he wouldn't hear me. He hadn't noticed me yet which was good. He went towards a car which I'm assuming was his. He started to get inside and I watched him from far away behind a clump of bushes. I hid myself so he wouldn't see me. His car was parked near a country side which was near my house, no-one was here, it was desserted.

I kept watching him incase of anything suspicious but came up with nothing. It started to go dark, the sky was turning a dark blue color, I still had to get the groceries before mum came back which was about in a hour. I shrugged and turned around to walk back. I started to walk and then suddenly I felt something cold and hard wack against my head, that was the last thing I remembered before I fell into a deep slumber.,.

Mums POV

I was really happy. I was at the airport and in about an hour I'll see Rosie and I'll have to tell her the truth about her father, sooner or later she deserves to know. I was just getting in the car on my way home.

I need to tell her about him, she can't go throughout her whole life not knowing who her father is. You see the thing is that Rosie's father had a rare mental disorder which made him want to kill Rosie. When Rosie was born he wasn't very happy at all. When he found out I was pregnant he wanted me to have an abortion but I wouldn't allow him. He thought that the baby would drive into our relationship but I reassured him it wouldn't. He was fine with it for a few days but when Rosie annoyed him by making him stay awake all night by her constant crying, he couldn't take it anymore. But she was a baby, all babies cry. He didn't understand that. He even became jelous about how much love and pampering I was giving her which I thought was ridiculous. Ever since then he's tried to kill Rosie. I still remembered that one day he nearly murdered Rosie and it's been haunting me ever since...

***Flashback***

Rosie was only 2 weeks old and she was just adorable. I was playing with Rosie and I was planning to take her to the park today for fresh air. Phil, my husband was sitting on a comfy chair reading his daily newspaper. I sighed he wouldn't play with Rosie at all, everytime she would approach him he would tell me to take her away. Suddenly my phone buzzed and I looked at the caller ID, My manager? I immediantly picked it up.

" Yes Sandra" I said.

" Jodie, I need you to come into the office to discuss some important matters regarding our project" She said her voice filled with seriousness.

I couldn't go and leave Rosie with Phil, he wouldn't look after her and our usual babysitter has gone on a vacation so that's no option.

" Sandra, I can't leave Rosie, is it possible that you can call someone else to help you" I said trying to reason with her. I looked down at Rosie she was sitting on my lap playing with my pendant, sucking on it and looking at it like it was the best thing in the world.

" Jodie, this will only take half an hour" She said pleading. I was unsure at first, I mean it's only half an hour. Phil can atleast take care of her for only half an hour. I'll be back in a jiffy.

" Ok I'll be there in 5 minutes" I said finally.

" Great, Thanks and see you then" She said before she ended the call. I put the phone down and looked at Phil, nervously biting my lip. What if he says no, who will look after her then? I decided to ask anyway.
