-5 days later-

ITSS MYY BIRTHHDAAYYYY!!!!
Oh yeah I forgot..

GOOOOOODDDDDD MMMMOOORRNIINGGG WOOORRLLDDD!!!!

These past few days was the longest days of my life. I did lots of thing to be happy again. I found it really hard to live on my own. By the way, I live on an apartment now. ALONE T_T. I'm kind of scared especially at night cause I see weird things. For example, I was cooking my black eggs (black cause its burnt) when I saw a figure of a man in my sofa. That's weird cause I saw him walk PAST my sofa. As in the guy went through it! But I shook the thought off for when I rubbed my eyes, the man's gone. Maybe it's just my eyes cause they're tired of crying. But that night it happened again. The man returned and this time he went through my wall. So therefore I'm not hallucinating. Its real.

I actually tried to get rid of the ghost by sprinkling holy water, (which I got from the church) but unfortunately it didn't work. The guy kept on visiting my apartment. So, I left. T_T Yes! I left. I packed my things and all. I also searched for a new one. It's nice and cheap and most importantly, no ghosts. So that's where I'm staying now.

So far, so good. I also cry seldomly these days. But I cried a lot when I burnt my first omelette. My mom used to do that for me but now I have to do that for myself. Then the first time I lived in the apartment, it was the longest breakdown for me. Life goes on though. So now, even though im not fully recovered yet, I'm still trying to be strong and keep on living my life.

And now its my birthday!!

I went to my kitchen and was about to cook my pancakes when the lights turned off. I shrieked. I screamed when I heard a crunch in my living room.

"W-who's t-there?" I called out.

Just as I was about to run, the lights turned on and I saw the best surprise of my life.

Auntie Tina and Uncle George popped the confetti and all shouted

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY ETH!!"

I covered my mouth in surprise and smiled at all of them.

I saw my playmates and friends and also some relatives. I was overwhelmed, I cried. I'm being a crybaby. I hate this.

"Thank you all so much."I said between my sobs

"Cheer up girl. We did this to make you happy so stop crying. Okay?"

I nodded. And smiled.

"SO WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR?!" I cheered.

"LET THE FUN BEGIN!" My friends chanted.

So others started to eat while I excused myself. I haven't took a bath yet so after I finished I went down right away and joined the fun.

I ate the food everyone prepared and after that, we all proceeded to the beach for they say we are going to have the program there. It was the best.

I got my 18 roses. 18 candles. 18 cupcakes. I actually laughed when I heard that there will be 18 cupcakes. These people are crazy. That what makes them so adorable. All the eligible men were the 18 roses. My girl pals my 18 candles. And the parents were my 18 cupcakes. That was so much fun. After the dance we did some games and then we ate.

All in all my day was perfect.

Its just that mom isn't there. But she's always on my heart and I know in everyone's so we could still feel her presence in the party.

After the party, auntie Tina and Uncle George brought me back to my apartment. I kissed them both goodbye and thanked them for the wonderful day.

I washed myself and wore my pajamas.

I slumped myself on the bed and reminisced the party. I was tired. But still, I'm happy. I smiled and contentedly sighed.

I looked at the digital alarm clock on my bedside table. 09:36.

I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.
------------------------
I rubbed my eyes as I woke up with that uncomfortable but familiar feeling I felt every single day of my life.

I looked around my room and sighed. As usual there was nothing there. Am I paranoid?

I looked at the clock and checked the time. 11:30.

So the day hasn't ended yet. I grinned when the tradition I do every year crept into my mind.

Every year of my birthday, I dress up my best look to bed. I couldn't do it before cause I'm tired but now, I think I could.

I went to my closet and took out the birthday gift from my aunt. It was a black dress.

It's upper top fits my body hugging my curves while the skirt were like waves. It was beautiful. I also wore the moon necklace my mom left me and wore glittering black slippers given to me by my friends. I applied light make-up that enhanced the color my eyes. I looked at my mirror and smiled.

Perfect.

Then again, the feeling returned.
I looked behind me warily. There was nothing there.

I screamed when, suddenly a man appeared right in front of me. He covered my mouth and drawn his lips closer to my ear.
"Don't scream. "He whispered.

I wriggled in his grasped and he surprisingly let me free.

"Who are you? How did you get in my room? What do you want?" I asked him.

He chuckled.
My eyes widened when I recognized the sound.

"You're t-the g-ghost from t-the hospital." I stuttered.

He laughed again. Totally entertained by my fright.

"You don't recognize me? That's new. People who saw me could never forget even if they saw just my shadow."he said

My eyes widened and I whimpered in fright. I could only say one thing as the man emerged from the darkness.

"Death."
