It was 4am in Saturday when he wouldn't stop poking me. "Caly."

"Go away, it's fucking 4 in the morning."

He laughed, "Yeah, didn't you say you wanted to watch the sunrise?"

"Ugh, fine," I groaned "I need coffee though."

He grabbed and pulled me to stand up, "Come on, the sunrise is waiting." He actually had his camera already hanging on his neck and for someone who barely had 2 hours of sleep, he didn't look like it.

We took the time in taking pictures of the sunrise, the view was unbelievable. The reflection of the sun in the lake water, the trees dancing from the breeze and enjoying it with a hot guy beside me was just the cherry on top.

"Stop taking pictures of me," I tried taking away his camera but since he was taller than me, it was to no avail.

J started clicking and going through the pictures that he took, even the pictures from yesterday. "You know, Caly, you really look like you could be a model and do this for a living." I stayed quiet, not sure on what to say. "No, really. You're really beautiful."

"Stop trying to flatter me, I still want those pictures deleted." I shoved him slightly.

Sending me one of those cheeky smiles of his, "Nope. These are memories."

"Okay, I give up. Whatever as long as you don't post those anywhere though," I closed my eyes and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. "Hmm, it's just been a day since I know you and here you are allowing to take pictures of me."

"Right? I normally don't even know how to start a conversation with a girl, I'm usually awkward but it's been so easy to get along with you and take your pictures and all," he replied.

I scoffed, "Do you really expect me to believe that? No offense but you don't seem like one of those guys who'd have problems on getting along with the opposite sex."

Laughing out loud, "Well, there's no denying that I am full of charms." his voice was teasing.

And for the entire morning before breakfast, we just stayed by the lake enjoying the rest of what's left of the beautiful sunrise.

Bacon and pancakes were my absolute go to breakfast meal and if I wasn't already attracted to J, I was now. He just laughed when I started digging in as soon as I saw heaven on my plate.
"I'm guessing bacon and pancakes are your favorite too?" he commented, which just earned him a quick nod from him.

Our Saturday passed by fast, we went for a swim on the lake and we tried to row the boat across the lake, we expected it to be romantic like one of those movies but we just ended up laughing at how silly it was. Time went by so fast that the next thing we knew, it was already quarter to 6 in the evening. And his phone continued to buzz that he had to excuse himself.

Spending the day with him grew the attraction even more, not like it was going to do me any good because after this weekend of ours, I'm pretty sure he'd end up knowing who I really am and if he knew what was best for him, he'd stay away from me. He wouldn't be like any of the guys I used to date who just went out with me to be known and be on the headlines.
I had so much questions that I wanted to ask him but at the same time, I couldn't because we both had a deal that personal questions were off limits. So here I am, waiting for him on his sofa with my mind going crazy on thinking if this attraction was just for now kind of thing or if it was actually something that could be amazing. May it be the latter or not, it will still end up with me being on yet another headline and that I didn't really need at the moment.

"Caly?" he called out.

"Yeah? Sorry, I ended up spacing out there for quite a bit."

J just smiled, "I was asking you if you know what you wanted for dinner?"

"Up to you, I eat about just anything," I replied before my phone started ringing. "Excuse me, it's probably my mom or my dad. Or maybe both."

"Calypso Pollux, how many times do I have to tell you that you have to update us on how you're doing?"

"Dad, do you really have to call me out with my second name? And I'm sorry, okay. I pretty much was just enjoying the moment here. I'll be sending you guys pictures of how beautiful this place is."

"Don't forget that you are flying to us on Monday, Calypso."

Rolling my eyes as if he can see me do so. "Yes, dad. Where's mom and Cal?"

"You're mom may have had way too much wine, your brother is getting caught up with some fan girls. And Calypso, you better be in your best behavior over there."

"I know, I hear your warnings dad. I'm doing good, being in my best behavior. So you won't be hearing anything headline worthy coming from me."

"Well, it's still Saturday over there. You get one more day of your solo freedom vacation or whatever you call it, enjoy but not too much. I don't want to read another headline about you again."

I hung up after dad said that he had to take care of my mother who was and had always been known as the crazy and wild drunk. My mom's drunk stories had always been funny to listen to as I grew up and there was just so much to tell, I wouldn't know which one to say.

"If you don't mind, I'm trying to cook us both some steak for dinner." J peeped his head over the patio. From bacon and pancakes to steak, this guy wasn't just some pretty face with a hot body, he also could cook. This was definitely not helping the crazy attraction I have for him.

He added, "I have no wine to pair with the steak but there is some beers that are waiting for us in the fridge." then winked before going back to the kitchen.

I clenched my heart and whispered to myself, "Be still my heart."

Finishing the delicious steak that he made, we ended up drinking most of the beer so we decided to drink the next best thing. Tequilla. Although no one just drinks one shot of it, everyone knows how much of a sneaky little bitch the drink was.
