The day that most of the student has been waiting for has finally come. The School Camp. 2nd-grade high school students are only ones that are able to go to this event; their school is known to have the best school camp in South Korea. Only good reviews can be heard by the lips of every student.
Early in the morning, the students gathered safely in front of the school. One by one, the buses left. One of the teachers, Soyou impatiently waited for her two students outside the bus. The students inside were complaining. They wanted to leave already.
After a long wait, she heard a grumbling conversation approaching the bus. Soyou positioned herself, ready to give the two a lecture.
"It's your fault why we are late," He blamed Yeri.
Yeri couldn't believe what he said, "No, it wasn't my fault," she said as she rolled her eyes.
"Shut up! Miss Soyou is near," He demanded that only the two of them can hear.
They both stood up straight when they faced Miss Soyou. "I hope you two have a better excuse," she used her favorite line, as soon the two arrived.
"I have none, Miss," Yeri said, almost a whisper.
"I'm sorry Miss, We just helped an old lady on the street," Jungkook lied.
Soyou didn't speak, she wasn't falling to his lies. She put her hand on her hips, raising her eyebrow, waiting for an answer, the truth.
Since their 1st grade, Soyou knew Yeri and Jungkook very well. She has been watching the two. She's well aware that the two hated each other. She always knew that Jungkook was not good at lying. Soyou met Jungkook when he just a little kid. The Jungkook who was kind and cheerful before. Then Yeri came, Yeri took Soyou's attention. Soyou always admires Yeri, she's a strong and hard-working person. She may have a stony-face or cold to other students, but she has watched them, quietly.
Jungkook had no choice, he ended up telling the truth. "I'm sorry, I woke up late," he pouted, averting his eyes.
"Good!" Soyou gestures them to enter the bus, they followed immediately.
"I think Miss has a crush on me," he proudly whispered, as he took a step on the stair.
Yeri was surprised to hear that, she almost stumbles luckily she grabs at Jungkook shirt to save herself. "Are you freaking serious about that?" she whispered back, Jungkook nodded, he was totally serious.
The girls were surprised that Yeri is with Jungkook again. Everyone in the school knows how Yeri hated Jungkook which was true. But the jealous girls thought that she's just pretending to not like Jungkook so she could get his attention. They spotted Yeri with Jungkook, in a good condition, not fighting; Which makes them wonder that Yeri started to win his heart. The girls don't want that to happen, they want Jungkook to be theirs.
