A brunette haired girl stood in front of her class; "M-my name is Sa-sawada Tsu-tsunahime, p-please call me Tsuna," she stuttered. Whispers broke out as soon as her name was said.
"How cute.."
"Pathetic."
"She's really shy."
"I hope she's smart."
"Well then, Sawada. Please sit on that empty seat next to the window," her teacher, Nezu-sensei told her. "H-hai!" Tsunahime exclaimed walking towards her seat, unfortunately someone had stuck out their foot making her trip. "Itai!¹" she exclaimed, making half of her class laugh and the other half worried. "Are you alright, Sawada-san?" "Pfft! Clumsy-Tsuna!" "Ah, let me help you!" "Idiot-Tsuna." her classmates exclaimed. "Settle down! Sawada, back to your seat," Nezu-sensei said. "Hai, gomen'nasai,²" Tsunahime apologised taking her seat.

"SAWADA! ANSWER THIS QUESTION!" Nezu-sensei exclaimed. "Go-gomen'nasai! I don't know the answer," Tsunahime stuttered. Tsunahime's classmates started laughing at this. "Tch. You really are a dame," Nezu-sensei growled. "Dame-Tsuna³, best nickname ever!" someone laughed. Tsunahime looked down sadly and sat down. 'Why are they laughing? It's not funny.. I just don't understand this at all, I was at the hospital last week. Of course I wouldn't understand a thing.' Tsunahime frowned. Truly, she was at the hospital. Because of her weak immune system, she had a bad cold. Or at least that's what she thought. She would be at the hospital at least thrice a year, which was rather worrisome.
"Please stop being mean to Sawada-chan!" an orange haired girl exclaimed. "Yeah, you monkeys!" a raven haired girl exclaimed. Tsunahime looked up, she had not expected that someone would defend her. "And why should we?" Someone asked. "Because you don't know her! For starters, do you know her grades at her previous schools? Huh, do you?!" the raven haired girl exclaimed. "Yeah! And do you what she's like? That's right, you don't!" the orange haired one exclaimed. Tsunahime's classmates looked down guiltily. "Don't worry Sawada-chan, we'll be your friends!" the girls exclaimed. "T-thank you," Tsunahime smiled through tears.
