You can never cross the ocean, until you have the courage to lose sight of the shore.

Ria's pov:-
"What are you talking about?"
"This darling," he bent down to pick up something and then turned around.
The sight of the little round white pill in his hand had my eyes widening and my face paling.
"Care to explain this, love."
"Uh-uhh it's just a protein pill."
"Really? I somehow refuse to believe that."
"And, I refuse to explain myself anymore! It's my life and what I eat is my private matter."
"Answer me, love."
"I won't!"
"Don't test my patience, love."
"Don't force me then!"
Bloody fucktard.
"You're my responsibility, Ria."
"I am nothing to you! Atleast, not after you made a bet on me, after you used me."
"It was a stupid mistake, Ria."
"Stupid mistake?! Ripping off my dreams, trying to drown me, harming my dignity, playing with my trust, my feelings, was all a stupid mistake? No one makes the same mistake twice, Zeeve."
"I truly apologise for my actions in the past."
"What the hell am I supposed to do with your apology?! Fuck it?!"
"I regret doing all of that Ria, I really do."
"And how does your regret help me? My dream to study in London was never fulfiled! My hopes to grow out of depression were shattered! If you really regret your actions, give me my dreams back. Make me feel normal again."
"You are normal Ria," he spoke, his voice calm and collected, but that tone made me feel agitated.
"I am not! I'm not normal!" I yelled and stood up from the bed.
"You are, darling. You are just like all of us," his voice was soft, gentle, but it snapped something inside me.
Jumping towards him, I tried to land a punch on him, wildly swinging my other hand at the same time.
Somehow, I managed to drop the glass of milk placed on the fine porcelain tray that was kept on the black coloured nightstand.
"Ria! Don't move," Zeeve took a step forward and I instinctively took one back.
"Aahh. . .fucking hell," I hissed as the sharp shards cut through my skin.
"Ria!" Zeeve yelled, but my eyes were focussed in his expression.
His face was painted a thick coat of anger, raw anger, and he looked like he wanted to hurt me.
