A stars daughter

not on purpose

Iyah woke up in the middle of the night not in her bed. Her eyes adjusted to the dark and she seen she was sitting in the closet. She held up her hand. She held a lit match. From the light from the match she seen that she had dark red burn marks on her arm forming a shape of some sort. With out thinking Iyah dropped the match making it hit her foot she let out a high scream and busted open the closet door and crawled out. Decu woke up and sat straight up,"Iyah what's wrong",she said. She looked over at Iyah who was sitting in the corner of the room crying. Decu ran to her and looked at her arm. She held Iyah till morning came.
In the morning Decu took Iyah to Stein. When they arrived Ms.maka, Tsubaki and Kid were there waiting for them along with Stein. Iyahs vision was still slightly blurred from crying but she seen her mother walk over to her and comfort her. Stein then set Iyah up on a work table and examined her arms. "Yeah my suspicion was correct. This looks like Kado's work", Stein said as he cleaned his hands preparing to work on Iyah. "What's Kado's",Iyah said looking at her arm. Maka walked up to Iyah,"Kado is a second hand witch. She has been attacking students lately",she said. Then Kid walked up to Maka,"she is a card witch. She only shows herself before she gets a victim. She hides herself as a card but can attach herself to someone and either persuade her victim or hypnotized them to do self harm. In our case it seems like hypnosis" he said. Stein laid Iyah back and strapped her down. "What's all this for," Iyah said sounding worried. Stein ignored her and continued to strap her down. When she could barely move Stein stuck a syringe in Iyahs cuts and burns. Iyah held her breath and slightly moved around. Slowly Stein injected a liquid into Iyah. When he took out the syringe not long after Iyahs injuries started to glow causing her to scream in pain. Decu quickly ran over to Iyah and held her hand. When Iyah felt her hand she quickly tighten her grip. A few minutes later the injuries stopped glowing and Iyah passed out. Maka and Tsubaki walked out leaving Kid to tend to his daughter and Decu to watch after Iyah. "I thought witches only existed in fairy tales" Decu said as she messed with Iyahs hair. Kid walked over to her,"well not everything magical only existed in fairy tales." Kid looked at his daughter who's eyes were slowly filling with tears.
An hour later Iyah wakes up still in Stein's labs. She looked to her side and found Decu still holding her hand. "Decu", she said. Decu quickly turned her head and looked at Iyah. Decus eyes lit up and she quickly unstrapped Iyah and hugged her. Decu got off Iyah and helped her off the table when Kino and Niko walked in. Iyah looked up at them,"hey star", the twins said. Iyahs face turned light pink and she looked away. "Who are you two and who you calling star", Decu said. The twins walked up to them and pointed to Iyah, "that's star and we are her two lovers". The look on Decus face was a mix of anger and confusion. "Ok then....I'm taking Iyah home now", she said as she slowly walked to the door with Iyahs wrist in her hand. The twins quickly pulls Iyah away and looked at her arms. "She was injured", Niko said ,"we must find out and kill them", Kino said. Decu pulled her away from them and looked at Iyahs arms. 'the marks are gone how did that know about that', she wondered. The twins walked out and Decu was close behind with Iyah. Decu made it back to their dorm with Iyah half asleep. She laid her in her bed and looked at her,"I will protect you Iyah....I promise".
Decu went out to get some food. While she was gone Iyah woke up from a nap to a knock at the door. She went and found Miko behind the door. "Hey Iyah can I come in I have something I want to show you", he asked. Iyah steeped aside and Miko walked in. She then closed the door and watched as Miko turned and pulled up his sleeves to reveal red cuts all over his arm. "I feel bad for you and what your going through so.....I didn't want you to feel alone so I'll do it with you", he said as he pulled a small razer out from his pocket. Iyah darted her eyes between the blade and Miko's cut. 'this can't be real he's encouraging me to' Iyah thought to herself. She then opened the door and started to push Miko out. "Sorry Miko I'm quite tired and needs some rest so bye bye", she said hoping she didn't sound suspicious. Miko then turned around and grabbed her arm,"Iyah please I'll do it with you", he said as he held the blade up to Iyah. She knocked it out of his hand and accidentally cutting herself. She then shoved Miko into the wall and shut the door. She held up her arm that Miko grabbed and watched as her skin cuts itself open and burns itself into an eye shape. The eye moved and it looked at Iyah. She scream in fear and pain and quickly covered it with a rag and called Decu. By the time she answered she was a few steps to the door. She dropped everything when she heard Iyah screaming. She ran to the door and tryed to open it but it wouldn't budge. "IYAH ITS ME UNLOCK THE DOOR", she yelled as she pulled on the door. She finally kicked the door down and found Iyah in the corner holding her arm away from her. Decu ran over to her and found burn marks going all the way up to her neck. She quickly called Stein and he came over right after with the medicine he used on Iyah before. When he got there Iyah wouldn't let anyone near her. Decu then got behind Iyah and bear hugged her so she couldn't move. Stein gave her the medicine and she quickly passed out. Decu placed her on the bed and stepped outside with Stein. "I've never seen something this bad before", he said as he looked back to Iyah. Decus eyes slowly filled with tears,"is there any way to stop this I don't want her to go threw this", she said before Stein placed his hand on her head. She looked up at him and he was smiling. "Don't worry kid she will be fine I promise. I'm going to give you some extra medicine to give her if she breaks our in these injuries. I need you to stay with her 247 ok I'll have maka come teach you guys till we get this all situated", he said as he handed decu some needles and liquids.
Decu put the stuff up and sat on Iyahs bed. "I know we bearly know each other but.....I don't want to see my only friend suffer", she said out loud before her words turned into crys. And hour pass and maka came to check on them. "Hello Decu I see Iyahs still out", maka said as she walked into the room. Decu I looked up and found Liz walk in behind maka. She quickly went and have her mom a hug before bursting into tears again. "Hey it's alright baby nothing bad will happen", Liz said as she ran her fingers threw her daughters hair. Decu finally stopped crying and was able to speak,"I only left for maybe 5 to 10 minutes.....how could this have happen". Maka then went and looked threw their drawers. She came back with a playing card,"this could be why". Liz took the card and studyed it. "Looks like a regular playing card to me", she said as she handed the card back to maka. Maka split the card in to two full cards but one had a spell written on it. "Liz I need you to bring this to kid and have him destroy it", maka said as she gave Liz the card with the spell. Liz quickly ran to give it to kid. Decu sat on her bed and looked at Iyah. "Would you like me to stay until she wakes up", maka asked as she walked over to Decu. Decu shook her head yes and maka sat next to her and they waited for Iyah to wake up.
