Ashley's POV
*Two weeks later*
Today I'm getting out of the hospital. I am so excited. Jeff had to go but my brother stayed with me. But almost the whole time he is calling AJ or texting her. It's kinda making me sad that he won't put down his phone and talk to me I just got out of a coma two weeks ago and he was nice for a couple of days then non-stop calling AJ. So I got out of the hospital. I put on some clothes (in photo above on Ashley). I took a plane back to where I lived. I was gonna be in physical therapy because I broke my leg and it is the worst. It isn't broken anymore but you know I have to work in order to get back in the ring.
*Three months kater*
So I'm meeting up with Seth. He hurt his knee a couple years back and he said he would be able to help and stuff. So now I'm with him training and whatever. I feel confident knowing I'll be able to get back in the ring. I was training at NXT. I saw Jeff come in. I stopped what I was doing really quick to go say hi.
"Hey Jeff!" I smiled and hugged him.
"Hey shorty!" He hugged back.
"Excuse me?" I asked.
"Hey you are short. You're 4'8!" He did have a point. I shoved him playfully and got back in the ring.
"Watch this!" I told him. I picked up Seth and body slammed him.
"Wow. Ashley Brooks, you are getting back to your old self." He smiled.
"Yep. I just wanna have a match." I sighed.
"If it's ok with Seth you can have a match against me." He suggested. Seth nodded.
"I'll be the ref." He laughed. Jeff got in the ring and Seth imitated the bell noise making me giggle. We locked up. I backed him into the turnbuckles. Seth counted to 4 and I backed up. I kicked him. Then I slapped him. I did a twist of fate and went on the top ropes and jumped off. I landed on Jeff and pinned him. He kicked out at two. I groaned.
"I'm gonna make you tap." I laughed. I turned him over and grabbed his arms. I did the Athena Lock. He tapped. Seth sung my theme. I laughed. He raised my hand. Jeff got up.
"You seem like you can get back in the ring." Jeff said getting water.
"Well I need to be 100%. I don't wanna get an even worse injury that would be career threatening." I reminded him.
"True. Maybe in a couple weeks. I mean, I need my tag partner." He said getting back in the ring.
"Yea I know. I'll be back soon. Probably in the next couple weeks." I looked at Seth he nodded.
"Well anytime you can go back. It's not that bad to the point where it is still broken. I mean it doesn't hurt when you were wrestling right?" Seth asked.
"No. It felt fine." I said.
"Then you can get back in the ring whenever you'd like." He smiled. After a while I left.
