In the year 2542, seven families have deemed royalty for their extraordinary powers. Not only were they stronger and faster, but each family had sets of powers special to them. From telekineses to matter control to the ability to conjure fire, each family introduced new powers in every generation. The Seven Royal Families may be powerful, but they all have one major fault. Each and every family member has the ability to become "corrupted" or lose their powers and become savages. A strain called Kira has the ability to 'kill' the powers, weakening the affected until they snap mentally and become killers. This process can happen within seconds or within years, and a group of vagrants named Shi has taken it upon themselves to kill off all the royal families.
