The sun sinking, a pink hue
I picked my phone, out of the blue
I put on my coat, off the dust I blew
What was my on mind, I had no clue.
I had no plans, too good to be true
I wondered why, I always drew
Trees and things, just a few
And a symbol, in the curfew.
It wasn't normal, someone said
I thought I remembered things, in my head
I heard her say Jonathan, but he was dead
A box of his belongings, along the bed.
I thought I saw something Simon could not
The guy with the blue hair, I saw he was caught
I went to look for what I sought
I shrieked by the sight, my skin so taut.

Author's Note
Hey did you get it, did you??!! Yes, it was the excerpt from the beginning of the mortal instruments-The city of Bones. The narrator here is Clary, trying to recollect memories she thought she had lived. Also,(*drum roll please*) this was my first try at Fan fiction yay!!!
Please do let me know what you think of it, even those who have not read the book (what are you doing in life if you haven't?!) Yeah, let me know how do you think of it as a poem too.
