chapter 3

as you may now have figured out, i have a tiny obsession with the famous viner, nash grier. as you also have figured out, i do not obsess over social media, but when you have literally everybody tagging you in a tweet, it is kind of hard to stay away.

@nashgrier hey guys. this #shipnashty stuff is cute and all but i have a girlfriend that i really love.

what is he talking about? #shipnashty? i searched the hashtag and i was very astonished at the results. everybody is using this hashtag and saying that the nash grier and me, an unknown girl from north carolina, would make a cute couple.

if he knows about the hashtag, does that also mean that he knows about me?

as i was deep in my thoughts, a notification from twitter popped up on my laptop. i clicked on it and i saw that i had a private message from none other than nash grier.

@nashgrier so, im guessing that you have seen this hashtag?

@christy_xoxo i have. i dont know why people decided to ship us together, you are the nash grier and im just a random girl living in north carolina.

@nashgrier well i saw your vine and i couldnt help but seeing the amount of likes, revines, and comments it recieved, so that means you must have some fans, which also means that you are not a random girl.

i closed my laptop and instantly texted rachel.

 to rachel: guess what!

as i waited for her reply, i decided that it was time to make my second vine. i pressed the record button and started my vine.

"when someone takes your food"

and then i paused it and inserted the video of the girl getting hit with the shovel.

hey, i will admit that i am not extremely funny but atleast i got some sort of attention on my first video. just as i uploaded the vine, i recieved a text from rachel.

from rachel: what?

to rachel: nash grier messaged me on twitter and we are planning to hang out soon! i am freaking out!

from rachel: OMG! tell him i love him! because you know.. he is my favorite viner ;)

my smile slowly faded. i know that rachel doesnt know nash ad same with him, but nash has always been her favorite, and even if there was something between me and nash, it would never happen. its the best friend rule.

i locked my phone and decided to quickly take a shower. as i got into the shower, there was one thing that wouldnt leave my mind. why did nash grier wan to meet me?

i finished showering and ran over to my phone.

holy crap.

my mouth dropped open and i stood there in shock.

so many questions ran through my head. why did he follow me? how did he find my account? why does he want to hang out with me? what will his girlfriend think?

i couldnt get my mind off of nash. there was something about him that just made me feel different. ive only had one boyfriend in my entire life, we never did anything, i guess thats why he ended up cheating one me. i kind of pushed guys away, ive been asked out since then but i dont want to deal with the hurt. i havent even had a crush on anybody since i was cheated on; i havent had my first kiss, i barely went on dates, i just never was good with relationships, but nash grier, he makes me feel different.

call me crazy, but im falling for nash, falling hard.
