I am sorry! I know it's been forever since I've uploaded, I thought I was done with the story tbh. But I rethought some things (again), found some really good inspiration and started writing again. I plan on keeping it up and not leaving for as long as I did. If anyone is still even interested in reading this story I would love to get some feedback on what you think. The last chapter ended in an awkward spot from where I stopped writing, and the dialogue just continues into this chapter. So no time at all has passed between last chapter and this chapter, it might be helpful to reread the last few paragraphs of Chapter 9 because realistically it should continue in that chapter, but yeah. Hopefully I haven't confused you too much.

Again, I apologize for being gone, but it's helped me get my story back on track. And I'm definitely back.

Here we go! :)

----------------------------

"We just need to come up with a plan incase they make an attack. We can take them."

"Tomorrow? It's getting late and Nate and Adam already went to bed. I didn't want to leave you down here by yourself."

I nodded my head and let Ben lead me out of the library. We walked upstairs in silence, holding hands. He kissed me goodnight at my bedroom door and went to his own bedroom. Although sleeping in his room with him was amazing, I knew we couldn't make a habit of it this early into our relationship, especially in his parent's castle.

I fell asleep quickly as soon as I got into bed despite just having a nap. It was a peaceful sleep with no nightmares, and I definitely needed that.

Sometime throughout the night I was awoken. I didn't know what had woken me but it sounded like something in the hallway, so I got out of bed and headed for the door, expecting to find one of the boys out there.

When I opened the door the hall was empty. I figured I must've actually been dreaming, and when I went to turn around back into my room I noticed something on the floor. I walked over closer to it and realized it was the vase off the side decorative table a few feet away, smashed. I looked around again to see if anyone was around because I knew it hadn't been there when Ben and I had came upstairs and we should've been the last ones up here.

Suddenly, an arm wrapped around my waist and pulled me down. A hand slipped over my mouth so I wouldn't scream. I started thrashing and trying to get away before a voice whispered in my ear.

"Lindsey, it's me. Stop it."

I turned around to see that I was sitting on Adam's knee.

"What the hell, why did you have to grab me like that?" I asked, standing up.

"I don't know, I didn't want to scare you by saying your name."

"Saying my name would've been a lot less scarier than attacking me."

"Whatever," he put up his hands as if he didn't want or didn't have the time to fight with me.

"What's going on?" Nate asked, stepping out of his room.

Adam gestured for both of us to be quiet and pushed both of us towards Ben's room. He was the only one we couldn't wake up by causing a commotion, and we obviously needed to talk.

Adam flicked the lights in Ben's room on and off to wake him up. Ben rolled over and looked at us.

"What the hell?" He asked, sitting up and rubbing his eyes.

"That was my reaction, too," I said, going to sit beside Ben on the edge of his bed.

"What is going on?" Nate asked.
