"Please collect your homework on my desk." said Mr. Levine when the bell rang.
The weekend after the party I spent at home. All alone, watching TV series, doing homework and dancing in front of the mirror like crazy. If I was the mirror I would collect my stuff and get the hell out of my room, because the stuff my mirror saw, saw no one.
I haven't seen nor Maria nor Bryan this weekend. Do you have this feeling sometimes that you just wont to be alone, do nothing and just feel that amazingly awesome moment of loneliness because no one's worth your time? I feel that way 24/7. And I'm perfectly fine.
I stood up from my seat and walked to teachers desk and was about to leave the classroom when Mr. Levine called me.
"Rose? Could you stay for a minute?"
"Uh, yeah sure." I said and walked back.
"Sit down please." I sat in front of him.
"Mr. Levine? I have some questions about our homework can I ask them now?" said this girl from my class whit a flirty voice. I believe she doesn't have any questions she just wants to flirt with Mr. Levine.
"I'm busy now Alisha, and you should ask your questions before you hand your homework not after."
"But I just..."
"I told you that last time, you can't get an easy A just like that. Ask your questions before handing your homework."
"Okay." and she left while glaring at me. What did I do? This students are weird.
"Unbelievable." said Mr. Levine while leaning on his chair.
"What did you want to tell me Mr. Levine?"
"Oh right. I was just curious if you would like to go to some math seminars. I also sometimes organize them and maybe you could help me. You're a clever girl with great future. Multiple great colleges may notice you during the seminars." he said.
"Really? I really can come with you?" I said surprised. This is a really good chance I won't miss. There's no way I am missing it. I've been to some seminars before. Some of them are boring, some of them are so interesting you don't want them to end but this doesn't matter now, we're talking about my future. My future is in my own hands and I'm really concern about it. I'm not the person who lives just for today not thinking about what can happen the next day. I like to plan everything, I hate surprises especially the ones with negativity in them.
"Sure you can. I'll be really happy if you could keep me a company sometimes." he said and smiled. Actually I like this man. Oh no no. Chill you hormones. Not that way. He's just so kind and thinks about people around him, and I could hear concern in his voice when he talked about my future.
"It'll be a honor to keep my teacher's company." I said and he smiled.
"So I'll let you know when the next will be held."
"Thank you so much Mr. Levine." I said and looked around. I saw girls watching us through the glass windows, some of them actually holding their ears near the glass to hear our conversation. Really? I mean all the girls have crush on Mr. Levine even some boys, so I don't blame them, I would have been curious too.
"I think I should go, some people don't like me being here." I said and got up from my seat.
"Huh?"
"Oh come on Mr. Levine, you know that the girls in our school don't ditch your classes not because of their endless love towards maths." I said and pointed at the door. Some girls backed away and some of them acted like they were just leaning on the door and having a conversation. Girls.
