It was finally here. Moving day. I was finally going to meet my best friend after he moved away. Sure enough I get a text from him while I'm packing.
10:46AM
Arch: Hey y/n! I can't wait to see you today.
Me: Same here Arch. This town sucks.
Arch: Riverdale isn't the best either.
Me: Better than Greendale.
Arch: Right. Well I'll see you when you get here!
"Hey mom!" I yelled out from the top of the stairs. "Yes?" She yelled back. "Come help me with my bags and boxes please." I asked before we got everything into the van. We started driving until we arrived to the small town of Riverdale across the river. Sweetwater. Once we got to our new house,I stepped out of the car and took a breath in. New life. New friends. Time to unpack.
    Not that long into unpacking there was a knock at my bedroom door. "Hey,(y/n). You too busy to talk?" He asked smiling in the doorway. "No but I could use some help,Archie" I giggled as he walked in and started opening boxes while we talked. "I'm so glad you're finally in town." He said looking up at me for a few seconds. "Yea me too. I've had enough of that town. Anything going on up here?" I asked setting things in my drawers. "Uhm..you didn't hear?" Archie asked as he stood up straight and looked at me. I looked back "No. what happened?" His face got a little serious. "Do you remember Jason? Blossom?" He asked walking over to me. "Yea what about him?" I asked looking up at him. "He- He's dead,(y/n)." He said looking into my eyes. "Oh my god..How?" I asked tilting my head before looking at the ground. "He was murdered. We're still trying to figure it out. Jug,Betty,Veronica and I." He said rubbing my back. "Who you'll have to meet by the way." Archie said trying to lighten the mood a little. "Yea,Yea of course." I said a small smile on my face. Oh man. I might've gotten myself into some trouble here.
