Chapter 2

The sun began descending as the day progressed and dinner drew closer. A total of two hours had passed since rehearsal had ended and the boys were just relaxing in their rooms, doing their own thing. Yoongi spent his time composing a piece for the group's next album, so the sound of a grand piano flooded the hall, which kept the others awake. In his studio, the Golden Closet, Jungkook was working on his solo mixtape. He tried his hardest to stay focused on the task at hand, but his mind kept going back to the embarrassing moments from earlier. He glanced over in the corner of his studio at the safe he kept behind a stack of papers and made sure it was securely locked. He threw the diary in there when Taehyung knocked, and he kept doubting whether or not he locked it.

"I shouldn't have even written any of that shit down." Jungkook muttered to himself at a tone barely above a whisper. "I should've just held it like I've been doing for the past 5 years. There's no such thing as a 'breaking point' you can always shove things down, that's how things end up being forgotten."

In the middle of his internal argument, there was a knock at Jungkook's studio door. He expected it to be Taehyung again, so he looked down at his music to make it appear like he was intensely working, but at the second knock he looked up and saw that it was only Jin. He got up and answered the door.

"Dinner time already, Jin hyung? What did you make for us this time?" Jungkook asked with a giggle. He could always count on Jin to make something delicious for the group.

"Oh you'll see. Now get your little ass out here, don't be late to another thing today, the others are in the kitchen waiting and I don't want my lovely work going to waste." Jin replied.

Worldwide Handsome and the Golden Maknae made their way to the kitchen. The smell hit JK's nostrils and he knew what Jin had prepared right away. He made a scrumptious pizza with various toppings.

"UGH come on, why couldn't we have gotten Panda Express? I've been asking for it for weeks now!" Taehyung whined in the corner of the kitchen.

"Shut up and eat what I made for you it's good. Worldwide handsome never fails to amaze." Jin said with a smirk. The others fell silent at his comment, like they do at all his other Worldwide Handsome comments. That boy really loved his face, but then again, so did everyone else.

The boys started going towards the pizza, getting ready to grab their slices. Jungkook reached out and was just about to grab his slice, when a hand touched his lower back. It was Taehyung reaching for a slice. Jungkook tensed up and Tae, sensing it, removed his hand. Jungkook was used to that happening, as the two of them have a close skinship, but he still never stopped feeling the sparks he felt from day one, and he didn't know how to stop them from occurring.

In fact, he didn't know if they'd ever stop.

[After dinner]

"I have news!" Taehyung proclaimed, practically running into the main gathering space where the other members were sitting.

"Lemme guess, your handsome face, even though not as handsome as mine of course, got another date?" Jin asked narcissistically.

"Oh come on Jin hyung I was supposed to announce that! But yes, I have a date tonight. Her name's Lisa. She seems like 'the one' if you know what I'm saying." Taehyung replied while nudging Jin's shoulder with a wink.

The other members, minus a quiet Jungkook who remained on the couch in the middle of the room, bro hugged Taehyung and wished him luck, saying things like, "go get her", "just smile you'll win her over", and "get sommeeeeee". Taehyung laughed with them all and then approached the youngest, who remained silent on the couch. His silence surprised him, as he's almost never silent, especially at news such as this.

"Hey, you ok?" Taehyung asked with a concerned tone in his voice.

Jungkook quickly got up. "Yeah man I'm good, congrats on another date, you sure know how to get those girls haha. Hopefully she truly is 'the one' this time because you deserve someone long term, not short term. You're worth more than that."

"Thanks JK, it means a lot. Do you mind helping me get ready? I would ask the others but they would make too many jokes instead of being helpful, and I've asked for your help for all these other dates that it feels like tradition at this point." Taehyung said with a chuckle.

Jungkook could feel the heat rising in his cheeks both from what Taehyung had said to him and because of the fact that he would get to help dress him again. "Yeah, of course. I got your back, hyung."

"Perfect. To my room we go!" Taehyung goofily said, while marching militaristically off to his bedroom at the end of the hall. Jungkook trailed behind, head down the whole way. He was extremely for Taehyung, as always, but he couldn't help but feel his heart break for the ten millionth time.

"Hurry upppp I'm gonna be late for the date!" Taehyung turned around and exclaimed to the mopey Jungkook, who was at least two feet behind him.

"Coming, sorry. I just feel full from all that pizza from dinner. I had like five slices, new record for me." Jungkook replied nervously.

After a minute, the two finally reached Taehyung's room. His room was cluttered with clothes everywhere, as usual. That boy sure does have alot of clothes, Jungkook thought to himself.

"I was thinking about wearing something like this," Taehyung said, showing Jungkook a pink suit with a flowery white bowtie type thing. "But I'm not so sure anymore because I also have these," Tae said, showing Jungkook about five more suits. "Which one do you like best?"

Jungkook stood there, admiring all the suits and thinking about how they would look on Taehyung's flattering figure. He liked them all, but he really thought the pink one would look best and he secretly believed and hoped that the pink would be too much for the girl to handle, which would drive her away. These selfish thoughts overtook JK's mind alot, as much as he hated admitting.

"The pink one looks nice, hyung. I say you wear that one, I mean, who doesn't like pink am I right?" JK said with a giggle.

"Man, you're right. Ok, this one it is then." Taehyung said, while starting to take it off its hanger.

Jungkook left the room while Taehyung changed. He secretly wished he could've stayed in the room, but of course that shouldn't even be a thought in his head. After about two minutes, Taehyung finished changing into the suit and joined Jungkook outside the room to show him the finished look.

"You always know the best outfits to put me in for dates JK, I feel hot as hell and ready for this date. Thanks for always being someone I can rely on when it comes to date preparation." Taehyung said, gently patting Jungkook on the shoulder before heading down the main hallway towards the main gathering space towards the front door.

"Always here for you." JK replied, feeling the surge of heat through his body once again from Tae's gentle touch. He instantly put his head down, sighed, and returned to the main gathering space with the others and pretended like nothing was wrong, just like he'd been doing for the past five years.
