Alfred barley heard what Allen said. He just kept wishing those lips were on his.
Just as Allen leaned in, the door bell rang.
"I'll get it." Allen said, sounding disappointed.
"Hello?" A familiar voice asked.
Allen opened the door to reveal Oliver, François, and Matt.
"There you are. We have been all over. Where is all your stuff and why are you here?" Oliver sounded pissed.
"I moved out." Allen stated curtly.
"Why?" Matt sounded hurt.
"Because I'd rather not live where I am not wanted. You have never even acted, pretended, like you love me like family. It was always you, François and Oliver. There was never me. Why would I stay if you don't want me around?" Allen was offended that they even had to ask that.
Upon hearing this Alfred started to think that maybe they weren't all that different.
"We never wanted you to feel that way. We only didn't know how to express ourselves. You always acted different from the others. And your mood swings were dangerous." Oliver stated softly.
It was true. Allen wasn't just a phycopath, he was a sociopath. One minute he is crying, the next he is happy. He could kill someone and not feel bad about it until the next day. Sometimes not at all. He could kill someone close to him, that he loved, and not even bat an eyelash. He was crazy and enjoys killing. Alfred is the same.
"But that doesn't mean I don't want love." Allen said.
"We're sorry. We do love you. We'll try to show it more." Matt said, pulling his brother into a hug. Oliver and François joining.
Alfred envied them a little. He tried talking it out but his "family" hates him too much to care. Alfred couldn't get it out of his mind. No one wanted him. No one loved him. No one would care if he killed himself. No one would go looking if he disappeared. And no one would hug him gently like the family in front of him.
Alfred walked away, to let them have their moment. He went to the bathroom, not bothering to lock the door. He grabbed the blade he hid under the sink and was about to cut himself.
Allen was searching frantically for Alfred and went to check the bathroom, his family following. He opened the door to the bathroom to see Alfred holding a blade to his wrist. Allen was about to stop him when instead, he saw Oliver hugging Alfred.
"I know your family doesn't love you, but we can be your family. You and Allen aren't that different, in a good way, and we would love to be your family...... If you'll accept us, that is."
Alfred started to cry, for the first time, since his first life, in front of someone. He was so happy.
"Now, tell us everything. We want to help you." Matt sounded like a responsible older brother.
