Y/n Past

Flashback to twelve years ago

My mum was in hospital just when I was thirteen years old. She wanted to see me everyday just before she goes.  She's had cancer for a year now and was told she had several weeks to live. My mum is someone special to me since my dad ran away and I had no siblings to look after. "Y/n" a weak voice called out to me "yes mum" I replied looking at her and grasping her hand as usual. 

"When I'm gone please stay with grandma and look after yourself.." and with that I lost my mum without even saying goodbye. Me and my grandma were the only ones in the funeral and none else. No friends, no family, no relatives. 

I moved school to the country side with my grandma and I grew up in a rural area compared to the city where I used to stay. My school was a friendly place since it was a small town and everyone knew each other. I made a new friend and his name is...Kang Daniel. 

Several years later

I finally graduated school with Daniel and was able to go to a university near by. I worked in two jobs since I had to wait a long time to start school again. After finishing up my work at a local restaurant, me and Daniel met up at a coffee shop. It's something we did all the time. I stared at my watch "Y/n you okay?" my male friend said "of course, it's just time goes really fast. 

We both headed our direction to go home after saying goodbye. I ran home holding my grandmas favourite street food hoping it doesn't go cold. The front door was open to my house and I heard different voices, one belonged to my grandma's and the other two I had no idea of. 

"Oh Y/n here you are!" my grandma exclaimed holding my hand making me sit beside her on the sofa. There was a couple sitting opposite me smiling, they looked like they were in their mid age. It brought back memories of my mum who liked to sit opposite me since she can see my face and smile knowing that she had someone by her side. "Are you thinking of going to university?" the lady asked and I just nodded. 

Silence filled the air. I started feeling uncomfortable until my grandma said something that gave me goosebumps. "Your getting married Y/n to there son"

And there I stood looking at our wedding photo over and over again wanting to go back in time and change everything even before my grandma died...
