Chapter 4

Lucy stares shocked at Echo being stabbed through the stomach.

She was frozen in shock.

Laurence stood up leaving the knife in her,"My bad,your girl just surprised me ."

Lucy had her hands on her mouth in shock unable to comprehend what had happened.

Lucy is a great team leader but she had never been in a mission where someone had been stabbed before,it was always safety before anything for Lucy.

Tears clouded the brunette's eyes as she choked on her own tears still unable to move.

"Well i guess my job's done,now you know not to mess with Yuki,"Lawrence said as he vanished into thin air.

Lucy wasn't sure if Echo was conscious despite her eyes being still open and shaky.

Natty came into the room and gasped loudly at the sight of her friend on the floor.
"Oh god!!" Natty yelled out as she ran over towards Echo turning her on her back so she could see the wound and the knife.

Natty examined the knife and stared at Echo to see if she was still conscious.

"H-hey...it's going to be okay.. just look at me.." Natty softly said as she held Echo's face to only see Natty's eyes and her other hand on the knife.

Natty swiftly pulled the knife out receiving a blood curdling scream from Echo.
Natty put her hands on the wound and closed her eyes hoping her healing power is strong enough now.
Suddenly a green glowing light was underneath Natty's hands and Echo's wound started to stitch up by the glowing light from the blonde healer.

"N-n..." Echo mumbled out.

"Shh..it's okay I'm here..."Natty stroked Echo's ebony colored hair to calm her down.

Natty looked up at Lucy who was still not moving.
"Hey...L-Lucy?" Natty gently called out.

Lucy jumped and stared at Natty like she had been in a war.
"Lets...go home.." Natty suggested but since Lucy wasn't answering she decided to teleport the three of them to the dorm.

Natty picked Echo up from the living room and headed towards Echo's room she put her down on the bed gently tucking her in.
She quickly ran towards the kitchen and grabbed a glass filling it with fresh water.

She put it next to Echo on the bedside table.
Natty sighed at the situation she was in.
After a couple seconds Natty heard whimpering in the living room,it was Lucy.

Natty instantly ran towards the living room and bent down to Lucy who was trembling violently with fear.
Natty pulled her friend into a tight hug and didn't let go.
"Your safe now.." Natty continued to mutter comforting words to her leader.

After a couple of minutes Lucy calmed down and took a deep breath.

"Oh god Natty...what have i done?"Lucy fretted as she fidgets with her fingers.

"You were s-scared thats all...its okay-"

"No it's not!!" Lucy exploded shocking Natty.

Lucy shook her head and looked down,"S-sorry.. i just..."

"I g-get it...I'll be in Echo's room if you need anything.." Natty softly said as she got up to leave.

Lucy stood up groaning in the pain from her neck.
She wondered who that man was and what he wanted with her.
She wanted to keep all of her team safe...but all she does is want things....she never does things because of her fears.

Lucy sauntered towards Echo's room,she stopped at the door frame.
Natty had her hands on Echo's forehead with the green glow on it.

"Did you know she was sick?" Natty suddenly asked.

Lucy came into the room closer to Echo which made her feel even more guilty.

"No..I'm sorry I didn't-" Lucy said with shame looking down.

"You know Lucy.. i-i like you being leader but...you can't be one if you keep hurting your team like t-this.." Natty said with tension in her usually soft voice.

"I don't....what do you mean?"

"I'm saying you will kill us all one day if you keep letting us do the fights..." Natty finally said.

Lucy looked defeated and was about to break down,but she couldn't.

"I-i... Natty...I don't have powers like you all" Lucy continued,"I'm just a human..."

"So?you don't need powers to fight!" Natty snapped.

"I-i know but.." Lucy couldn't say the words she wanted to say.

"You don't have an excuse Lucy! We all lost our families,abandoned!What makes you so different?! You can be strong without powers," Natty screamed which stunned Lucy and Echo who was now awake.

"N-now please leave..."Natty quavered from screaming.

"I am so-"

"Don't even say anything Lucinda," Echo shot a glare at Lucy who was still stunned but quickly left the room with tears in her eyes.
