To Catch and to Keep
Mind: beware–
For they are hard to catch like air.
You must take care -
For they easily tear.
You can catch a memory anywhere,
Everywhere.
A pair
Of pears,
Unusual hair -
look at that silverware!
While sitting in an armchair,
Or flying through the air.
Perhaps look elsewhere;
Places fallen into disrepair,
Places that are quite threadbare
full of people looking to ensnare
Those who are in despair.
Look there,
If you dare.
But for me, I'll find memories there,
Where'er
I can love and care,
and my friends say we'll pay your fare
But please do take care -
we couldn't bear
You being mauled by a bear.
We'll being waiting for you at O'hare!
You really are a person rare.
