The Purge: Harry Styles (Book 1)

Chapter 23.

"How much longer?" I ask, keeping my eyes closed and my head against Harry's shoulder. My head is still pounding and my ankle stinging with pain.

"Only about twenty minutes babe." He whispers quietly, pushing me up on his back as I slipped slowly.

"I like it when you call me princess." I kiss on his shoulder, my eyes opening. I leave a trail of kisses from his shoulder to his neck.

"Are you trying to seduce me?" He asks, giving me a side way glance. "Because it's working."

"Well the other guys are in front of us." I move my hand down to the outside of his pants, pinching his butt, cashing him to yelp. "But no I'm not trying to seduce you."

"Why are you kissing my neck then? It's like you want to jump my bones right now." I see his smirk when the words leave his mouth. I smack his arm.

"I'm just showing my appreciation to being such an amazing boyfriend." I give him a sloppy kiss on the cheek, causing him to cringe.

"Your spit is all over my cheek now." He comments and I wipe his cheek with my hand.

"Don't act like you don't like my kisses. I won't give you anymore."

"Fine." He says. "I love your spit all over my cheek."

"I know." I smile, climbing up his back some since I fell a little bit more. "But really, thank you. I'd probably be dead if it weren't for you."

"Don't say that." He snaps. "If I would have known that I met you, I'd do it all over again." His voice goes back to normal.

"Really?" I ask, honestly surprised. I've caused these boys so much trouble with bad luck following me this whole time. I mean, bad luck would come into a failed 'mission' that was taken to advantage by physco people, and taken over to the point where it hasn't ended for many weeks now.

"Really." He replies. "If I would have known I would fall in love with an amazing girl, I would go through all the pain you put me in." He says the last part with humor laced in his tone.

"I love you." I tell him.

"I love you, Princess." I see him grin, causing me to grin also.

Harry's POV

I'm so ready to get back to London. I can finally show my love for Spencer in a place where we won't get killed if we go on a walk, or where we won't get killed if we go to the store to buy food.

I'm so tired of living this life and I'm sure she is too.

My guilt for all the pain that she's gone through is extremely high. I mean, I've caused most of it and other times was just accidents that came her way, and not anyone else's. Like earlier where she was hung upside down by a crazy, yet very smart psychopath, she didn't deserve that.

I want to protect her, but how can I do that when things happen that I have no control over? I can't control the world and it's ways, so I just have to live with it.

I can control myself just for Spencer because I love her. So damn much.

Niall's POV

Look at them.

So lovey dovey, and stuff.

I don't like it. I don't like watching the girl I like, fall in love with someone else. I love Harry, he's like my brother but he doesn't deserve her. Once we get back to London he'll go back to his Harry ways and Spencer will be out of the picture for him.

He'll be Harry again. Not the retired drug user, and in love boy that he is now.

I know one thing for sure though, he will eventually break Spencer's heart and I'll be there for her, I will comfort her. She'll finally realize that Harry isn't the guy he is now.

He's going to change, and when he does I will be Spencer's real hero.
