As I ran deeper into the forest my wolf began to howl more at the loss of the mate she was waiting a lifetime for. I skidded to a stop upon hearing a twig snap near me. I then turned around to face a sandy blonde wolf and by which its smell I could tell it was a rogue. I got into a fighting position but what it did next surprised me. It shifted to a short blonde around 5'2 with a petite body. She had forest green eyes and waist-length sandy blonde hair, the signs of malnutrition were clear on her. She then showed her neck in submission and whimpered,
" Please I mean no harm I am just an Omega I was from the Steel Claw Pack but my mate the Alpha rejected me."

Feeling sympathetic for the poor girl I shifted to my human form looking just as malnourished as her. I gave her some clothes, put on mine, and then hugged her tight."It's OK I was in the same position as you a week ago and I finally decided to leave after my mate rejected me. It's going to get better.

I watch as the girl whose name I was yet to know eyes brighten with hope.

With that, we shifted into our wolves and ran off into the sunset.
