This story is set in an alternative universe. To be more exact, it's set in a Sims 2 subhood that I made. In this subhood, I recreated some favourite characters (including Renesmee and Hope) a little bit before thinking of this story. Ever since the first footage of the fifth season of The Originals came out, I've thought that Hope and Renesmee from Twilight could make a great couple.
This was just a quick little note to serve as an explanation why the story is set in a different place.
