"Falling in love is like giving someone a loaded gun pointed at your heart and trusting them not to pull the trigger" -Anonymous

I couldn't breathe. I felt lost. How could this have happened? I wished there was something I could do to help as I sat in an uncomfortable white plastic foldable chair by a hospital bed that was occupied by an unconscious Shawn. We were supposed to live happily ever after together in a basic two-story, suburban house with a dog and 2.5 kids when we were older.

It all started when I was walking my cat, Cheeto, and was craving a chili cheese hot dog that could only be found at the gas station a block away from my house. I have a hard time befriending other girls, so I found myself walking Cheeto alone a lot lately.

After I got my chili cheese hot dog, I looked down at my phone after getting a text from my mom:

"When are you coming home??? Are you at Brody's house? Tell him I say hi :)"

I rolled my eyes, she just doesn't understand that I'm not into him that way. He can be so dramatic, like a girl PMSing.

BLAM! I ran into something....or should I say someone. I look up and see that my chili cheese hot dog was displayed all over the scarf of some random boy who looked pretty upset.

"THIS IS A FIFTY DOLLAR SCARF FROM LOUIS VUITTON!" he yelled. At least that's what I think he said; the music in my headphones was drowning out most of the noise around me.

I dug into my wallet and pulled out fifty-one dollar bills and threw it at him and walked away with Cheeto to get another chili cheese hot dog. I don't need to deal with this right now. Who spends $50 on a stupid scarf anyway? I just get most of my clothes from thrift shops and vintage clothing boutiques. Why would he even wear a $50 scarf to a gas station? He must be such a dramatic person. You don't need to get your boxers' in a twist! I thought to myself.
