2/ escape 2

     Kai brought you to the camera room. You could see all of the cameras throughout the house, inside and out. Only Kai and your parents were allowed to view this room, since it would be too privacy invading. There was cameras in all the rooms besides bedrooms and bathrooms.
"Your mother seems to be in her room or your fathers room, the other guards are in their usual places." He said, looking into the monitors. "So whats the plan?" You asked him. He massaged his temples and thought for awhile. "Alright, i'll go find out where your mother is and then i'll give the rest of the team something to do to distract them."
     You nodded and watched him walk out and lock the door behind him. It was silent and muggy inside the room, there was no light switch or anything, the only lights were the monitors. You decided to watch Kai through them.

You felt anxious and worried as you sat in the dark room, watching him go through with his plan. It seemed like forever, and you had so many worrying thoughts going through your head. What if your mom came in? What would she do to you?

     After what seemed like an eternity, Kai came back into the camera room. He had a look of satisfaction on his face. "We have to go now, and quick." He said, grabbing your hand. You felt anxiety run through your veins, and you were shaking. You weren't used to leaving here or being on your own, so the thought that you were gonna be FREE soon was so much to handle.
     "Where are we going?" You ask, looking up at the man. "Out of here." He began to run, dragging you around. You were a fast runner, luckily. He got to the elevator and pressed the down button over and over, like he was trying to make it go faster.
     It opened and to your relief, nobody was inside. Kai pushed you into the elevator, and quickly pushed the button to go down. As the elevator began to close, you saw a slender figure with long black hair standing at the end of the hallway. It was your mother, an angry expression plastering her face. She began stomping towards the elevator at a fast pace.

       You and Kai looked at eachother, and at the same time said, "fuck."
    The elevator closed before she could get in, but that didnt matter. She saw you leaving, and she was going to alert everyone else. "Look, when we get down here we have to run FAST. When I say fast, I mean so fucking fast you feel like your legs are going to burst open."
And just like that, Kai began running with all the speed in his legs, practically dragging you around. Nobody was there to stop both of you, yet.
All of this was happening so fast..you couldn't process anything. "Where are we going?" You ask, panting hardly. Kai Took a deep breath, "no talking, youll run faster."
You immediately shut up. He was dragging you around corners, your legs were already so tired. As he turned a corner, there appeared two men holding pistols. You and Kai both froze, and Kai mumbled something under his breath. "We were given orders by mrs kim to bring (y/n) to her, we can take her to get the brat off of your back." He said, smirking at you. You gave them a disgusted look and turned your head away. "Excuse me but what did I tell both of you to do? Definitely not walk around to try and find us. I can take her myself." He said, pushing through the guards. One of them raised their pistol to Kai's head. "Sorry boss, but miss kim doesn't want that to happen." He stepped forward, pressing the gun onto Kai's shoulder.

"(Y/N), close your eyes." Kai ordered, looking down at you. You closed your eyes and turned your head far away from the guards and Kai. You felt Kai's grip around your small arm disappear, then a loud gun shot. It made you take a step backwards and jump, you were sensitive to loud sounds. Without thinking you opened your eyes, and regretted it.

There was the guard, his back facing the creme colored wall. The top part of his head was missing and brain debris was scattered all over the wall. You screamed in pure fear, and turned to face the last guard alive. He pointed his gun at your knee, and pulled the trigger. You screamed again, but this time in pain. Your flesh was burning and you felt the bones in your knees cracking and dislocating. You fell to the ground, screaming in agony. Besides you was the dead guard, what was once his face was so close to yours. Before you could scream or move away you felt your (e/c) eyes slip behind your head, and Kai yelling your name.

after that, it was just black.

You were awake.

You were laying against something soft and warm. It was slowly raising up and down. Carefully, you rubbed your fingertips up against it. You didn't open your eyes, you just sat there in the dark. A pair of fingers brushed the hair off of your face and rubbed your soft skin. Nobody has ever touched you like this, it felt weird, like it wasn't right. You felt The pain from your knee getting shot, forcing your eyes open. You grunted and looked up to see Kai looking down at you. Your head was on his lap and he was brushing the hair out of your face, probably so you could sleep better.

"Uhm?" You furrow your brows, giving him the signal to back off. "You're finally awake. I told you to keep your eyes closed, (Y/N). You just can't ever listen, can you?" He said in a teasing tone.
"Where are we?" You ask, sitting up quickly. You looked around and observed your surroundings. It was familiar, very familiar. It was a limo, the one your father owned and drove you to events in. "Tch, So you pick the most noticeable car?!" You screeched at kai. "Nobodys coming after us (Y/N), were fine."
"Yes! My mom, her team, my fathers team! They are ALL gonna be after us, smartass." You snap at him, feeling your blood boil inside you. "She isn't coming after us, so just calm down."
You roll your eyes at him and stand up, stretching your legs. "Sure, nobodys coming after the famous girl thats dad got murdered and just randomly disappeared." You said, sarcastically.

Kai ignored you and poured himself a glass of beer. You looked out of the window, surprisingly you were on a smaller road. There was 3 other cars in the lane next to you, and 5 in the same lane as you. The two of you got quiet, since you were so amazed with the outside world. There was small shopping areas and trees surrounding the road. You smiled and put your hand up to the window, wanting to stick your hand out of it.
You knew Kai wouldn't let you do that for "safety" reasons, so you didn't even bother asking. It looked like it was golden hour, giving the outside view an even prettier imagine. The lighting hit your glowing skin, it felt good. Sun on your skin was a very rare feeling. You closed your eyes and took in a breath. As you breathed out you felt the window slowly roll down, making your smile grow even larger. You looked at Kai, he had a sincere look on his face.

You turned back to the window and stuck your head out, letting the breeze hit your face. "Ahhh, so refreshing." You took a deep breath in once more, with your eyes closed. "Alright, head in. We're about to get on a bigger highway, I don't want people to see you." He said in a soft voice. You pouted and stuck your head back into the muggy car and watched the window roll up.
