(Nash's P.O.V.)

"Nash?" I heard someone say. I looked for a voice of a girl, and happened to see a very pretty one. I walked over to her table.

"Hey, ladies" I said acknowledging the other pretty girl. "Aren't you Emma?" I turned to the familiar one.

"Yea it's me. Glad to see your not making out with your sister."

What she said hurt me.

(Emma's P.O.V.)

I instantly regret what I had just said to Nash.

"Nash, I'm sorry. It just came out. I- I didn't mean it."

He nodded. "Jayden? Can we get a few?" She agreed, so I asked Nash if we could step outside for a while.

"She told you?", he asked once we got outside. I nodded.

"I'm honestly sorry about what I just said. I wasn't thinking. I understand how you may have felt at that time. I'm sorry." I felt really bad about what happened.

"So... is this your first year here at Southwest County Midappe Collage? I said trying to make conversation.

"No. I'm starting my second year here. I'm going to be here for 2 more years... I'm majoring in theatre arts."

"That's cool! I am too, so I'll be here for 3 more years after this... So yeah."

This conversation was real awkward. I guess that was my fault though.

"I'm honestly really so-"

"Enough. It's ok." He chuckled. "I just wanted to... Get to know you better. You know, just as friends!"

That would be lovely. He linked his arms with mine and looked at me as if making sure it was ok. We walked back into the caffe. Jayden was in her phone, probably scrolling through twitter. "Good you're back!"

Nash, Jayden, and I talked for hours. it was truly a beautiful day. The sun was out, the sky was blue. A very pretty shade of blue. I noticed a lot of kids our age together. In big crowds. It got really hot out, so I took off the sweater I managed to wear. Nash took off his shirt. I stared. For a long time.

"You like what you see?" He said. Jayden bust out laughing and I blushed, so hard I was probably as red as a tomato.
