A n n a ' s   P o v

All I can do is wait. Waiting. Watching. Listening. I don't know how long it's been. I don't know where I am. I want to know. My curiosity is getting the best of me.
Fading into reality, the sight of a lake comes into view. It is night and the stars are glistening above. This all seems so familiar, yet I can't seem to remember any of it.

I look up at the sky to see the bright moon at its apex. It's craters are visible from what I can see. A figure appears in front of me. I avert my attention to it and it's the same tall, muscular man from before. Still, his hair carelessly flopped on his forehead. His brown eyes glowing even in the dark.

"Anna" he says.

"Anna my love, it's me. Come back! Please don't leave me.." the figure starts sobbing and falls to his knees. He curls up into a ball but there is nothing I can do to help him.

I open my mouth to speak but before I could, the man starts screaming, bloody tears pouring from his eyes. His scream is so loud that I feel like I'm going to pass out. My vision blurs and I'm back in that old white room. Gosh I hate this room.

Only this time—I'm laying down. Facing up towards the white ceiling.

"Anna darling.." a voice says.

Who is that? Where is it coming from..

"Anna please tell me you're still there." The voice continues.

"Hello?" I ask even though nobody can hear me.

"Anna it's been so long honey."

"We miss you. Ava misses you. HE misses you. Hun he hasn't eaten or slept in god knows how long honey you need to come back to us!" The voice cries.

"I'm here! I'm right here! Who is he?" I call out.

"I have to go now. Darling if you are there, please...come back.." the voice says. After that,
Silence. No sounds, just me trapped in my own thoughts. Who am I kidding, that's all I have to keep me company.

For the second time today—well I don't know if it's even the same day. My vision slowly starts to fade into what looks like a carnival.

I'm sitting on the Ferris wheel, overlooking the ocean and bright orange sun. The pastel sky surrounding me. I feel a warm touch on my hand.

I look down to see that tan hand again. I look to my right and see the same man that continues to appear.

He looks at me with a smile. I smile back but his starts to turn into a frown.

I furrow my eyebrows in confusion, wondering what happened.

"Yo- you left me! HOW COULD YOU LEAVE ME ANNA! AFTER EVERYTHING HOW COULD YOU!" Tears pour from his eyes, his voice shaky.

"What happened? What did I do?" I asked.

He looked me in the eyes and shook his head.

"We were supposed to be together forever, Anna. Its my fault your not with me right now. But the moment you wake up we are leaving and you are going right back where you belong." He paused.

"Does that sound nice, sweetheart?" He asked, turning his vision towards the sunset.

"What do you mean where I belong?" I furrow my eyebrows once again.

"I have to go now, my love."

"I will be back tomorrow" And with that, he disappeared into thin air.

I already know the drill. Back to the white room. Oh would you look at that. I'm right.

As a stood in the center of the white room, his words replayed in my head. "I have to go now, my love."

My love? I don't even know him. He must be crazy or something. But everything is crazy. I'm probably crazy.
