*Kylie's POV*
I walked downstairs and pulled out the box of waffles from the freezer and popped them in the toaster. As I was waiting for my waffles, I opened the fridge and grabbed some blueberries and whip cream. I mean come on whip cream is amazing! Once the waffles popped up I drenched them in syrup and poured some blueberries and topped it off with a little swirl of whip cream. "Okay this looks perfect, I have to Instagram it" I said to my self I posted it with the caption 'my yummy breakfast 😊💕 #whitegirlmoment' I chuckled at myself and went and sat in the family room and started watching Modern Family because that show is hilarious. I finished my waffles and took it to she sink and checked my phone. I had a message from my best friend Skylar.
Sky: Sup bae what are your plans for today?
Me: nothing really why?
Sky: wanna come over my brother has a friend over and I feel alone 😐
Me: haha okay I'll be over in a bit
Sky: Yaaay! See you in a bit betch 😂
Me: haha lates ✌️
I jogged upstairs and went into my room and grabbed my little purse and my wallet and told Aubrey I was leaving. I got into my car and drove to Skylar's because I was to lazy to walk lawlz. I got to her house and just walked in because that's just what we do we're that close. "Hey Johnny where's Sky?" "Hey kyles, She's upstairs in her room I think" "gracias" "mmhmm" I walked into her room and flopped onto her bed. "Heey kyles!" "You liar he doesn't have a friend over!" "Yeah he does he's probably in the bathroom or something" "Oh, well what do cha wanna do today?" "Let us go to mall!" "Yaas I need clooothes!" "Did you walk over here or did you drive?" "I drove betch" "good so we can take your car" she said with a little kid smile showing her dimples. "Fine" I laughed. We walked downstairs and right before we left the door she stopped, "wait hold on!" She ran to the kitchen and came back out with Johnny. I waited patiently and she told him something I didn't hear. A tall boy with spiked up light brown hair walked out of the kitchen and those eyes, wow I could get lost in them! He was beautiful! I smiled lightly but friendly and he smiled back. Yes! He didn't get freaked out! "Matthew this is Kylie, Kylie this is Matthew" Sky smiled. "H-Hi" damn it I stuttered! "Hey" he waved slightly. "Er- Well I have to tell Johnny something brb!" Sky said. Damn it Skylar! Now it was just me and Matthew. He walked over to me and just looked me up and down. "Is there something on me?" I chuckled "N-No you're just really beautiful." He smiled. "Well thank you" I blushed a bright pink. "My name is Matthew but you can call me Matt." He smiled. "I'm Kylie but you can call me Kylie." I giggled. He chuckled and looked down. "Well Kylie, I'd like to know you more, can we see each other soon?" "Sure!" "Um can I have your number so I can you know text o-or call you when we can meet up?" "Oh right! Can I see your phone?" "Yeah" he typed in his password and I did the same and we handed each other our phones and typed in our numbers. We handed our phones back. As if on cue Skylar and Johnny walked in "Ok well me and Kyles are going to da mall!" "Can we come! Please!" Johnny begged. It was funny how he begged but Matt also had this pleading look on his face. "Yeah Sky they should come!" I elbowed her. She laughed and nodded giving in. "Fine you guys can come" she laughed "Yay!" The guys said at the same time and high fived each other. They laughed and Matthew's laugh was the cutest! We walked out the house and into my car. Once we got to the mall we piled out and me and Sky linked arms and skipped to the entrance. The guys caught up and we talked out our plan. "Okay so we'll meet here at Starbucks in 2 hours and we'll get something to eat." Sky said. We all agreed and went our separate ways. Me and Sky and Johnny and Matt. "So what do you think of Matt huh?" She smirked. "Well he's really sweet and uh he's pretty cute." I blushed "aww Kylie has a cwushy wushy!" "Stahp!" I blushed a darker pink. "Would you date him?" "I don't know maybe?" I answered. "Aww!" "Plus I don't even know if he likes me back." "Please Kylie he asked for your number!" "Wait how do you know?!" "I uh I-I d-don't!" "You were eavesdropping with Johnny! You set this up!" "Yeah I did" she giggled "damn it Sky!" "What! You guys would be cute together anyways!" "You think so?" I blushed yet again. "I know so" she stated. "Well I wanna go to zumiez! Shall we?" I waited for her to link arms with me. "We shall" I laughed and we skipped across the mall to zumiez. We shopped and left and went to Pacsun, Urban Outfitters, Victoria Secret and, Forever 21. By the time we were done we already had bags up and down our arms! We went to the meeting spot and waited for the guys. A little while later they showed up with a girl I've never seen before. "Hey guys this is Amber. She's my best friend from years ago!" Said Matt. "Hi" she said a little snobby. "Um hi I'm Kylie" "Skylar" Sky said. "Well it's nice meeting you." "Yeah same" she smacked her gum loudly. Gosh that's annoying. "Well um we're going to Starbucks do you guys want anything?" I asked politely. "Sky knows what I want" Johnny spoke. "Matt?" "I'm fine thanks" "Amber?" "No thanks" "okay well Johnny wanna come?" "Sure" we walked down the food court to Starbucks and ordered our drinks. "So who's that Amber chick? Not to be rude or anything but she looks like a bitch." I said. "She's Matts best friend or ex girlfriend I guess he loved her a lot ." Well that crushed me right in the heart. "Oh" was all I could say. Sky rubbed my back in a comforting way. We walked back as soon as we got our drinks and seen Amber sitting on Matt's lap and him smiling really big. Well the urge to drop kick her is even higher than before. #sorrynotsorry I fake cleared my throat and she turned around annoyingly. Matt pushed her off as fast as he can and gets up and fixes his shirt. I rolled my eyes sassily and sipped my drink. "Do you need a ride or not." I retorted. Sky whispered only for me to hear, "Damn girl claim what is yours" I smirked and tapped my foot. "Me and Sky need a ride home" Johnny said. " I know you guys do but your friend?" "I-I uh I d-do." Matt stuttered "well then let's go" I sassed. I don't know why I was acting like this, we weren't even dating! I guess that Amber chick really just pisses me off. I guess I really do have feelings for Matt. They are developing way to quick. We left the mall and thank Jesus she stayed. I dropped off Sky and Johnny and we agreed to hang out later tonight. Now it was just me and Matt. It was kind of an awkward silence and the tension was thick mainly coming from me. "I uh I'm sorry for what happened at the mall she was my ex and-" "I know Johnny told me." I huffed. "Oh" was all he said before he turned to look out the window. I sighed and spoke again. "Listen can we start over? Your friend was intimidating me. I mean she had such an attitude for no reason and I felt like I needed to shoot one back. So i'm sorry." "Hey it's okay for a girl to get sassy, it's actually kinda hot" He smirked. I blushed and realized I had no idea where I was going. "Wait where do you live I kinda just drove off. He told me the directions and I dropped him off. He said he would text me later so I just drove straight home and sat in my room staring at the ceiling thinking about a guy I just met and I already have feelings. Damn you heart.
