[ Bestfriend ]

"Hyung! just one more picture!! Please?" 

Taehyung sighed, how could he say no to this boy? it's impossible. And with that, he turned around and posed for the camera. "Kookie, are we done yet?" he pouted, the latter's face slowly deforming from a smile into a frown.

"Y-yes hyung, just a few more" he lifted the camera once again. It hasn't been long since he became the assigned photographer for the model. As time passed, what only seemed like business partners became friends. At least for Taehyung, the younger on the other hand thought differently. You can say he's smitten over the fact he can work with his favorite model turned bestfriend, turned crush. 

"And we're done, let's wrap up" the older smiled, lips forming a boxy one. Jungkook was mesmerized, he've never seen someone so beautiful. No wonder his fans named him as 'CGV'. The makeup stylists helped the model in changing his clothes. Jungkook can't help but steal a few glances here and there. His cheeks were dusted with pink.

Jungkook opened his phone to see new messages.

Hobi Hyung: jungkook we need to talk.

Jeon seagull: sure hyung
                              what is it about?

Hobi Hyung:  so when are you going to tell him?

Jeon seagull: tell him what?

Hobi Hyung:  kook, you know you can't just keep your feelings in forever..

Jeon seagull: yes I can... I don't plan on telling him

Hobi Hyung:  no you can't, you know that.

Jeon seagull: hyung I'm just so afraid.. I can't let this ruin what we have
                              I know damn well he doesn't like me back anyway

Hobi Hyung: you don't know that kook

Jeon seagull: whatever.. I just won't do anything
                              it's good enough that I can be close to him
                              even if it's only as his bestfriend.

Jungkook sighed. It was tough, having to like a friend. It really was unexpected and unplanned. Hopeless was a word to describe himself, seeing that Taehyung is dating none other than: Park Jimin. It hurts everytime.

flashback.

"Hi, umm Mr. Kim?" The newly hired photographer called out. "Oh yes, hi! are you the new photgrapher?" The older smiled. 

"Yep, Jeon Jungkook at your service" he held out his hand for a handshake. Taehyung looked at the younger's hand for a second before high-fiving him. "No need to be so formal around me, just call me Tae hyung- oh wait that's my name but it's.. not? isn't that weird? Just call me Tae or whatever you like" He laughed. 'Beautiful' was all Jungkook could think.

months later..

"Hey babe" Taehyung kissed the lips of someone shorter than him. "Hi" he smiled. "Oh! Jungkook come here!" the model called upon his bestfriend. Jungkook walked over, 'who is he?'

"This is my boyfriend, Jimin. Say hi babe", "Sup, so you're jungkook? he's been talking about you all the time" this 'Jimin' said. This was where his heartaches first began.

end of flashback.

The next day, it was the same routine. Wake up, eat breakfast, take a shower, and head to work. When he got there, Taehyung was nowhere to be seen. "Maybe he's just late..".

Taehyungie <3: Ggukie
                                  Come to my place asap. please.

In an instant, Jungkook was rushing out the door. 

"Taehyungie hyung? where are you" He heard sobs coming from a room. There he found Taehyung. "Hey.. what's wrong? what happened?" the older wouldn't calm down. Just broken sobs and hiccups filled the room as Jungkook rubbed the small of Taehyung's back. Taehyung wasn't one to cry a lot, he's a sweet and cheerful boy with a complex personality. So the younger didn't understand what or who could possibly make Taehyung cry.

"J-ji-jimin a-and I broke u-up" he sighed heavily. "H-he said ou-our rel-l-la-tionship wasn't work-i-ing out any-anymore" Jungkook felt sad, seeing his hyung this way affected him. "I-I knew th-that it.. it w-wasn't work-working out anym-more b-but I j-j-just love h-him too much to let h-him go. I kn-knew he l-lo-ved me too. I-I w-wish I wasn't t-t-too attatche-ed to him. I-I wish I o-opened up t-to him more... he felt like he was the only one who loved too much in this relationship.. fuck, I-It's all m-m-my fault" He cried. It just shatters Jungkook's heart. He could feel his shoulders getting wet but he didn't mind it.

"Hyung, it isn't your fault.. maybe you're just really scared of showing some sides of yourself to him. Even so, you're still worth loving, you loved him and he loved you that's what matters. Or at least mattered. You are so special hyung, and you're strong.. you can get through this, just give it time. The both of you should talk about it too, tell him why you didn't want to open up to him" He knew that by giving Taehyung advices means he's helping him try to get back to Jimin. It hurts but if it helps his hyung, he's okay.

"I don't think I'm worth anyone's love, I'm only going to push them away like what I did to him" 

"Hyung, don't say that. You're worth the world. You're beautiful.. you're just perfect.. at least for me" Was this it? Jungkook knows now is not the time to confess but he just have to tell Taehyung everything.

"Taehyung hyung, I don't know why you can't see it but you're everything to me. I don't care about your broken parts or when you're insecure about your soft tummy or how you look. You're beautiful inside and out. I would spend my days and night just talking to you, figuring out how someone like you could possibly think they're worthless. Sure, you're complex but that's what makes you special. To cut it short, I like you.. well more like I love you. And I know it's not the right time to say these things but I just want to prove to you that you're more than what you think you are.. I'm not expecting you to love me back but it'd be nice too" 

Taehyung looked at him shocked, eyes still twinkling from the tears. 

"J-Jungkook, I-I didn't know you felt that way... I.. I don't really know what to say" 

"Don't speak" he closed the gap between them.
