[Food Place]

7:15 pm.
Taehyung's watch read. He's been waiting for three hours to end things permanently. It's no secret that he and his current husband are going through a hard time. For him, they're at the verge of getting a divorce. And that's just what Taehyung was planning.

Maybe he wasn't coming. 

Jeongguk entered the restaurant. There, he saw his supposed husband for a year. Kim Taehyung.

He wouldn't lie if he said he wasn't inlove with the older man but something about their relationship just changed. A lot. There would often be fights whenever Taehyung comes home from work. Jeongguk had some problems too.. at least in terms of health. His chest area have been hurting too often. To say that he was often restless was an understatement. Taehyung just never believes him.

"Oh, you're here. Sit down" the blonde spoke. Jeongguk was quick to follow his order. He didn't really know why he wanted to meet with him here, nor what would happen. Taehyung slapped a paper onto the table.

"W-what is this?" Jeongguk's voice trailed. He knows exactly what it is. He just hopes Taehyung wasn't serious about this decision. "I'm pretty sure you know what that is. Read it." the older's voice sent chills down the brunette's spine. He was scared. 

"Tae.. you're not really doing this right? P-please you're all I have" tears started to sprinkle his eyes. Maybe marrying a person you've just met after a year was a bad idea. Taehyung couldn't care less anymore. Sure, he still loves the boy but it just doesn't feel the same like it used to. It's become a battleground at home. He just knew they had to part for their own good.

"I'm sorry Jeongguk, it's for the best. I've already signed my part of it.. all I need is yours"

6 years later.

"Jeongguk, come on it's time for you to play!" a man shouted from outside his dressing room. "Okay! okay! Just wait a minute" He rushed out right after fixing his hair. Time was well enough to give him a job easily, it wasn't much but the money was being handed out handsomely. Maybe being a pianist wasn't that bad.

He got up on the stage sneakily and was surprised by an oddly familliar voice. 

"Is the pianist here now? Oh there he is. Firstly, I would like to make a toast for my newly wedded friends, Kim Namjoon and Kim Seokjin. May you have a happily married life you two" his voice was deep, almost enchanting. 

"Kim Taehyung?" the brunette whispered. He cursed under his breath. Fate really had a cruel smile.

"Um, sir? You okay in there?" Taehyung spoke. He's changed a lot for sure. Especially his hair which used to be blonde, is now brown and long and touching his neck. He was stunning.

The crowd looked impatient and so did the wedded couple. "Sir? you can play the music now" 

Jeongguk lifted his head from hiding and saw a complete glance at Taehyung. Shocked, Taehyung couldn't seem to get words out of his mouth. The latter gave glares.

"J-j-jeon Jeongguk?"

Later that evening, Taehyung had invited Jeongguk to dinner to catch up on things. The same food place where they filed for divorce.

"So.... how are you?" Taehyung managed to say. It was awkward to reunite with someone you've hurt years ago, but he just shoved that thought away. Jeongguk on the other hand, was unable to process what was happening. 

"I'm doing well, I have a few jobs here and there. Better than I though I'd be six years ago" He took a sip of his wine. Taehyung sighed. "That's.. that's good"

"How about you? What have you been up to?" The latter reciprocated the question. 

"I've got an internship at some hospital around here, no big deal", "And you sing for weddings now?" Jeongguk asked. "Well this was a one time thing, you know I can't sing good. I just did it for a friend"

"What are you talking about?" Jeongguk was shocked "You're a great singer. I like your new hair by the way" He smiled. The night went on as the two talked about their lives for the past years. As the night ended, Taehyung told the younger: "Let's meet here again. Until next time?"

"Until next time"
