Psycho

Finally

I turned towards police officers that have been following me.
I could see on their faces that they are starting to loose trust in me. They think i am lying. 
I have to find them. They have to arrest Mason.
I turned back around staring in space that i stabbed Mason just an hour ago. 
How could he move if he is wounded? 

"Charlie!"

They have to be somewhere here. 
When i wanted to call for them second time i heard Charlie's voice. 

"Gaby, i am here."

And he stepped out of kitchen. He seems fine. I cant see any trace of him being hurt.

"Police is here, we are finally safe."
"Good."

Both of us didn't say much. All of this was just too much for a two days and we are so tired and want all pf this to be over.
Charlie pointed to the kitchen looking at the police officers.

"He is in there."

And without  a word they went inside. All of this lasted only for a not even whole two days but still it feels like it lasted for so long. So much things happened and it is too much for me. And Knowing that he killed that girls because of me is making me sick. I am responsible for that even tho i don't know what they did wrong to me to make him kill them.
Mason showed up at the kitchen doors with two police officers, one on each side, holding his hands behind his back and walking him out of the house.
His eyes glued on me, he wasn't blinking, his face wasn't showing any emotions, just looking at me. 
Charlie pulled me by his side. I watched them walk him out and than bury my face into Charlie's chest. Breathing out. I didn't cry. There is nothing to cry for now. We are finally safe. He holds me tight, both of us silent.
Another police officer appeared on the doors.

"We are going to need you to come with us."

We nodded and exited hose without looking back. They guided us to the back of the police car. One behind from where Mason is sitting now in handcuffs. 
I can see him looking at me. I try to avoid his gaze but i could feel him staring at me. 
The cars started moving and i can't wait to go to my room again. But i know i won't be able to do that for a quite some time. They are going to ask us about everything that happened, and they are going to check us at the hospital and everything. 
Sun is getting up, the streets are getting crowded with people going to school or work and in a bunch of people in front of police station i spotted Sara. 
I didn't wait for car to do a full stop to open doors and run to her. 


"Thank God you are OK, i was so worry when you didn't come back to room when you usually do, you didn't answer any of my calls and i didn't know what to do."

I calmed her down, but she refuse to let go of me. So when police officer told us that we have to go inside she grabbed my hand and followed me.
And after long time of telling them every single thing that we could remember they let us go. Sara drove us back. Once in our room i went straight to the wardrobe and swung the doors open. I took out every single thing that looks like the one that Mason bought for me, i pilled it up in center of the room, moving to the my makeup collection and throwing it in a trash bag. And when i was finally without things that could remind me of that place i carried it all out in container.
Sara and Charlie haven't move the whole time. They just looked at me and let me do my thing. 
And when room was free from anything that i hated now i could relax and sit down. 
Mason is not going to see outside world in a long time.
