TAHLIE'S P.O.V

I let the tears that were threatening to spill run down my cheeks as I walk to my door. Fishing around for my house keys turns out to be difficult, my vision is so blurred. Finally I find them and quickly open the front door. Slamming it shut, I collapse on the floor, and sobs rack through my body. I'm confused as to why I'm so upset about Tristan letting go of my hand. It's not like I'm his girlfriend, and I know I probably never will be. Taking a deep breath, I pull myself up and go up to my bedroom. I catch myself in the mirror and laugh at my reflection. The makeup I had on has run down my cheeks and my hair is just a mess.

"No wonder Tristan doesn't want you, you're disgusting" I sneer at my reflection. Grabbing the makeup wipes from table, I rip one out of the packet and rub furiously against my eyes, making them bloodshot. I rake my hands through my hair, pulling wisps of it out in the process. I look at my hands, shaking, trembling. I can't distinguish this emotion, but I need to get over it before I meet Tristan. I walk over to my wardrobe and open the doors, and stand there for a few minutes looking through my shitty clothes. Eventually I pull out a black dress, cut out at the sides with the tag still attached. Looking at the clock just above my bed, I realise I only have an hour until Tristan gets here. I undress quickly and rip the tag off the dress and pull it on. It ends mid-thigh, making me paranoid that it might be too short. I walk over to my dressing table and take my straightners out of the little basket I keep them in. After plugging them in, I wait for little beeping sound, and start straightening my hair. Making sure all waves and kinks are out of my hair takes longer than expected, leaving me with only half an hour to do my makeup.

"Fuck, shit, fuck" I mutter whilst doing my eyeliner, poking myself in the eye multiple times. I put my mascara on quickly, and do the same with my red lipstick. I rush over to my bed and slip on my leather Vans and grab my leather jacket that was lying on the floor. I look around at my room for a minute, and realise how messy it is. Clothes lie everywhere, and I haven't made my bed in days.

"You should probably clean up soon" I say to myself, before I hear the familar beep of Tristan's car. I shrug my jacket on while rushing downstairs, and pick my up my keys on the way out. After locking the door, I trudge over to the passenger seat of Tristan's car, pull open the door and climb in. We sit there in silence for a few minutes, unsure of what to say. I glance up at his face, straight into his piercing blue eyes and my heart does a little flip.

"You look gorgeous" Tristan says, the first one to break the silence. I take the time to look over him, at what he's wearing and how everything he puts on seems to look hot. He coughs a little, aware of me being a pervert and openly checking him out.

"You don't look so bad yourself" I reply, earning a surprised laugh from him. I giggle, shocked at my flirting and how shockingly bad they were.

"You ready to party?" he asks, and I decide then that tonight, I'm going to do my best to enjoy myself.

"PARTY!" I shout, throwing my hands up in the air and wiggling in my seat. Laughing hard, he starts his car up and we set off to Brad's party.

AISLING'S P.O.V

"Has Tristan told Tahlie yet? I ask Brad, whilst lining up the alcohol on the kitchen counter. He frowns, busy on unwrapping all the food.

"No, no I don't think so. She's going to get a shock tonight".

"What, why hasn't he told her? She needed to know before the party!" I snap, frustrated with my best friend. Why is he leaving it so last minute? Tristan can be such an idiot sometimes. He needed to tell Tahlie before, I told him that. So why hasn't he?
